Cell is definitely the most “honorable” and dignified villain in the saga despite him being a murderous sociopath. He gives Vegeta a chance to shine once he obtains his perfect form. He gives Trunks some tips during fighting, like how brute strength is meaningless if you’re sacrificing speed (which foreshadows his demise with Gohan). He’s ready to kill Trunks, but decides to ask him how he got so strong so quickly and instead decides to let him and everyone else train for ten more days so it can be a fair fight. *And* he keeps his word. He compliments and praises Goku for his skills and tactics when they fight in his tournament. He pushes Gohan to his max power because he sees potential in him, and ofc that doesn’t go well for him. Idk villains like that are just really interesting. “I may be a piece of shit but at least I have standards.”
This is why I've always thought that resurrecting Frieza and not Cell is so pointless and fanservicey in Super If they had to resurrect one villain that would be willing to help to test his strength, it would be Cell. The way they are handling Frieza in Super is so out of character for him, but they had Cell right in front of them. Best saga and villain imo
Cell was made by the Red Ribbon Army, had Piccolo's cells, Vegeta's cells, and Frieza's cells, and absorbed the androids. He is LITERALLY the culmination of everything Goku has fought for up until that point, and so it's only fitting how the product of all of the villainy thus far is defeated by the product of Goku's fighting spirit: Gohan.
It's true, this was the perfect tribute for goku if you think about it. Cell has all the cells of all the strongest opponents goku defeated, on top of that, it even does a DragonBall style fighting tournament. Something goku was an expert in, probably the last true martial arts style fight in DragonBall z before everyone started blowing up planets. Also, everyone in this saga shined. Tien shined, piccolo shined, vegeta shined, Android 17 and 16 shined, etc. Everyone had there moments until gohan left everyone in the dust. It would have been a great conclusion for gokus life, and moving on to gohan. Great saga regardless though.

YES I’ve been thinking this for years so it’s great to see a youtuber take a closer look at Cell sharing the worst aspects of Goku and Vegeta. I really think Cell should have been in the Tournament of Power rather than Frieza. I mean the TOP is basically just the Cell Games on a way bigger scale and it’s Goku’s fault so having Cell would have allowed for more introspection on Goku’s flaws rather than brushing them off. Since he has the DNA of so many heroes I also think there’s a greater chance of him turning a new leaf than Frieza. It wouldn’t have made sense for Cell to be strong enough but it didn’t make much sense for Frieza either. This was a great video so please do more like this
Frieza is my favourite villain and Cell I'd say a very close 2nd favorite if you watch Cell carefully he displays characteristics of various other characters especially when he scoffed Vegeta by putting his finger to his lip something Frieza does often, and the he says Super Vegeta and laughs maliciously like Vegeta's fight on Namek against final form Frieza, I always wondered what he inherited from Cold aside from his similar looks, hight and the obvious ability to breathe in space
Still my favorite Villain to this day with Goku Black, Baby, and Cooler right behind him. While the Saiyan & Frieza Saga will always be considered the best, Cell and his saga will always be my favorite of all Dragon Ball.
I think Cells personality is more realistic cause it's closer to what a real personality should be like! because usually real personalities of real humans are build by multiple characters, and we act on these charactars in different situations and with different people! while Goku and Vegita have only a fraction of what a real personality should be like, too flat and too simple!

The tournament and him goofing off and having fun WAS him doing his own thing, Gero just wanted him to kill goku (which he ultimately succeeded in doing)
Dude you're absolutely right,Cell is awesome. As a potential fighter he has that, people say he isn't all that compared to 17/18 because of the infinite energy but Cell has Saiyan,Namekian,Human and Frieza Clan DNA but also if we went past canon Demon Clan from Garlic. And just think of this, with everything that has happened in thr series what if the Cell we know isn't THE perfect Cell but a prototype? Gero's robots that were picking up data are still around they weren't destroyed. We could potentially deal with some badass Android
Well one thing you didn't mention tfs cells voice actor was great too (I know it's from a parody but still) Also cell is my fav db villain cuz he isn't simply strong from the get go he had to struggle even a little to reach his perfect form
i actually liked the semi-perfect cell design. He started out more insect-like and ended a more humanoid figure in his perfect form. Semi-perfect cell is an ugly ogre-looking design. That's his metamorphic state and those are always ugly. It's like an animorph's book cover.
Best villain? Lol. You got to be sarcastic. Firstly he's an android, which makes him robotic, having no history, purpose, kin, or flavor to him Worse than being an android is that, he is he is a copy of the Z fighters basically a lab experiement. How tf is that a good villain? There's nothing to that thing.. Compare that to the only good and perfect villain in the anime, Freiza: There is depth, a human esque nature, lust, evil. He is a tyrant, has servants, similar to Vegeta lust for more power and influence. Reminds us of our own tyrants, just on a universal level Wtf Is cell? Once he kills everyone what then? Ye he had some okay moments, but others there's nothing to that thing.
As Goku and Vegeta and Gohan and Piccolo and everybody else that sells traits come from as they get stronger cell get stronger that's why he haven't been brought back to life yet cuz he would be unstoppable

Fun fact: the move used to kill trunks was actually a dodon ray, since it was golden
Well, cell is now I'm my top 3, thank you salad
I agree im glad somebody is finally is making a video about how cell is the PERFECT villain!
Perfect Cell is the Perfect Villain. He had perfect confidence. He knew he was perfect. He is the coolest villain in anime.
You dont need to force me to think that
A combination of all the characters dna morphed into one being. If you ask me he’s the ultimate villain of the series.
Well one thing you didn't mention tfs cells voice actor was great too (I know it's from a parody but still)
Also cell is my fav db villain cuz he isn't simply strong from the get go he had to struggle even a little to reach his perfect form
I love dbza Cell He Is JUST perfect. I May even like him more then originál cell
blinking salad saiyan isn't real he can't hurt you
Blinking salad saiyan:
Couldn’t agree more 👏🏾
Oh my god, the Mr. Satan drop in the last 30 seconds.
What if idea: what if piccolo jr killed goku in the 23rd world martial arts tournament
No trunks s death seems more remenecient of dende's death
Only in being a surprise
oh god, that blinking is nightmare fuel
Nah, this video is a FACT! Perfectly!
10:37 sliding scale of anthropomorphism
i actually liked the semi-perfect cell design. He started out more insect-like and ended a more humanoid figure in his perfect form. Semi-perfect cell is an ugly ogre-looking design. That's his metamorphic state and those are always ugly. It's like an animorph's book cover.
Cell is the perfect warrior because he has goku's dna so he knows when to fight and run and also he has frieza's dna so he was able to trick vegeta
I like that Cell is from an alternate timeline, it was a cool concept that paved the way for a lot of shit like the Xenoverse games
So nobody gonna talk about the Vegeta clip at the beginning or was that just me ?
Ssj goku in King piccolo saga after krillin death
When’s if saiyans kept there tails part 9😔
Should’ve went with the pun title, even if it’s kinda played out
Cells my favorite villain in dragonball
Best villain? Lol. You got to be sarcastic.
Firstly he's an android, which makes him robotic, having no history, purpose, kin, or flavor to him
Worse than being an android is that, he is he is a copy of the Z fighters basically a lab experiement. How tf is that a good villain?
There's nothing to that thing..
Compare that to the only good and perfect villain in the anime, Freiza: There is depth, a human esque nature, lust, evil. He is a tyrant, has servants, similar to Vegeta lust for more power and influence. Reminds us of our own tyrants, just on a universal level
Wtf Is cell? Once he kills everyone what then? Ye he had some okay moments, but others there's nothing to that thing.
He should have been brought back to for the tournament of power.
They should bring cell back
Cell is literal perfection.
his perfect jawline doesn't lie and neither do I!
i liked his black parts..they looked sick
As Goku and Vegeta and Gohan and Piccolo and everybody else that sells traits come from as they get stronger cell get stronger that's why he haven't been brought back to life yet cuz he would be unstoppable
I think cell and cooler are hands down are the best villains in z
I like the blinking eyes of your character
