That's a misconception about being on a student pathway, it is meant for you to learn and just to study here in Canada not for being a Permanent Resident here.
I agree, and the problem is that the Canadian immigration has given student visas “dual intent” which gives applicants too much of a high expectations for permanent residency, which, while may be a possibility for some, not a guarantee for all. If you come to Canada on an international student visa when you are finished your course you should return to your home country. It is not a fast track to residency. Immigration in Canada should go to people that bring value to Canada. It is not a back door.
They should just give opportunity those people who are inside to prove they are worth it. PGWP gives you that chance but not guaranteed whuch everyine knows that. There are existing problems (job, housing, crime, etc) they need to solve which is understandable. Ironically, there are still many holes how people can get in (tourist visa looking for jobs, outland migrants not inline with targeted draws, etc). There are inconsistencies with their policies. But in the end of the day, Canada is their country, hope this doesnt lean towards student program hate or people who seeks genuine opportunity.
yes po, pero If I were you, stay in Nova Scotia where you graduated muna, I dont recommend inter provincial migration.
What is the local demand for your qualification? If there is no positive outlook, there may not be work for a long time. So why stay in NS as suggested?
You can’t say “everyone deserves to become a PR”. It’s a privilege not a right! How would you feel if someone said anyone is entitled to live in your country perpetually?!
You did not finish my sentence, “Everyone deserves to become a resident, but not everyone is entitled to have it”. What it essentially means is you may have the qualities or dedication to get the PR, but you cannot automatically have it or demand for it.

Hello can buy an iphone with monthly pay as a international student as long as I arrive to Canada?
About time we have too many immigrants
Great decision
What about studying accounting in Alberta ?
Way past time to slow this down. Universities are not supposed to be "for profit" corporations, with a "growth or die" philosophy.
So funny these students doing hunger strike in PEI brought their briyani and buttered chicken with them LOL
Make no mistake inviting this kind of people into your house for group "Study", they will refuse to leave after.
You don't reply your email 😢??
and please give my regards to Herr Felix Nolte...🙂
