Keyboard Magazine video review (my full print review shall be available in the October, 2010 edition) of the amazing Moog Taurus 3 Bass Pedals. True to historical form laid out by the '70s-era Taurus I, this is a wide-bottomed 100% analog synthesizer. I got to spend some time with one of the 1,000 units made, plaster my feet all over it and figure out if it actually possible to shred on this 13-pedal, 1-octave beast.

James Blakes guitarist was playing one of these with his hands throughout their show in Portland Oregon, that thing is fucking awesome. But of course, Moog has the unique honor of being a company that has never put out a product that dissatisfies. right? "Grandmaster Flash Knob" Yes!!! this guy knows his stuff. how does one shred so easily? you must of had many lessons. thanks for the vid

Have you seen Synth Britannia on the BBC yet? OK so it's mostly about electronic music in the UK but it's still a good watch. You can probably find a torrent of it but if not and you're interested let me know and I'll see what I can do.

@myflash not that I know of it's a synthesizer on its own, not an effects pedal....
Unless you use one of those Roland MIDI pickups, I guess....

67 key? 3:24 Cool sound, as usual from moog, but the layout seems unconventional or like myself illogical. Maybe remove the pedals and make it a rack/desktop? Can you run stuff through it?
