The National Day Parade 2024 (NDP 2024) is Singapore's upcoming celebration of its 59th year of independence. It will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Padang. The theme for NDP 2024 is "United We Stand", which highlights the importance of Singapore's unity and resilience.
Parade and Ceremony: The parade will feature more than 2,100 participants from all walks of life, showcasing Singapore's diversity. The ceremony will include a presidential address, a flag-raising ceremony, a national anthem performance, and a fireworks display.
Dynamic Defence Display: The Dynamic Defence Display will be held at the Padang for the first time this year. It will feature 40 assets and more than 400 participants, simulating scenarios of threats and disruptions in the air, on land, at sea, and in the digital and civil domains.
Onward March: NDP 2024 will also feature an Onward March at the Padang for the first time. Marching contingents will march onto the spectator stand, creating a more interactive experience for the crowd.
