I am Chinese. I stayed in South Korea for two and a half years because of the epidemic. The money I made in Seoul is enough for me to spend my whole life. Maybe I will leave South Korea at the end of the year. I hope that the North and South can be reunited one day, and I hope that one day I can travel to Pyongyang as an independent tourist. It would take a pretty unimaginable event to unite the two, as after so long of separation. Economically, politically, culturally they are pretty different, even if ethnically they are Korean. If they did unite however, it is unlikely ANY foreign power would have troops on their soil. Korean history with foreign occupying powers is a sad and tragic one. Economically, it would be a match, though. Capital investment from the South and labor from the North, would likely produce an economic superpower. I wish them well. Peace out.
