- This is my third episode of this series and today I am up-cycling a necklace purchased at Goodwill that is lovely but dated. I recreated this single piece into 4 fresh new jewelry pieces that are lovely and right on trend for 2024!

It occurs to me from time to time when watching your videos, just how much work goes into each one of your designs. There are just so many steps: the brainstorming, the sketch, accumulating all the tools and component parts, setting up the video equipment, planning the video itself, making the piece on camera. This is all an enormous effort. Yet the finished product is so natural, so seamless, I tend to forget. What a gift you are giving us with each and every one of your tutorials!

I'll most definitely never going to put my charms on none of my loops anymore. I absolutely love the idea of the charm moving all the way around and not forcing my bracelet or necklace in another direction why wearing or stressing the loops or jumping rings to break. Your idea is amazing. Thanks ❤️

You did an amazing job on these pieces. My goodwill doesn’t sell their jewelry in store any more. They put it all online and the prices are outrageous.

I have a question about making the jump rings. I have a tool that I can make about 6-8 different sizes. I have tried many times to make 9 and 10mm jump rings but they are distorted and not round. I remember you had a tool with pink handles and it only created 2 sizes. Do you find it easier to use and any suggestions on the other one? I ‘d love to see you demonstrate both. Thank you!
Yes! That bail making plier is easier because of the big handle and the long bails… it’s my favorite 💕💕💕

marvelous re-designs! I have been saving jewelry since the 80’s I redesign once in a while. So happy to find your channel. I have been thinking of videoing and maybe, (super maybe lol)starting a channel for my miscellaneous crafts etc. I am wondering what you use for your camera, stand. How can you see while you work, and have such a great camera angle? 😅 I would love to know your gear set up. Thanks in advance. xoxo
I use a tripod that reaches over my work table but basically there’s a camera between my eyes and my hands… you will have to deal with people’s criticism who don’t make videos and don’t know how challenging it can be and how it changes the creative process so be prepared! But my TH-cam channel is my passion project and I love it so I hope you give it a go for yourself! Feel free to email me if you have questions. I am self taught but I have figured out a lot things and I’m happy to help 💕💕💕

Hello, Joee,! Do you ever take pieces like this and scrub them up with a tooth brush and tooth paste or some other way to clean? I generally do this with pre-owned pieces. I think it’s just a thing with me. Lol
