Cool video. I like the Jean Alesi helmet! Been looking for 1/2 all I can see is the 1/5 from Spark which isn't bad priced to be fair! Very nice collection of helmets!
Out of your collection I would rate:
1. Schumacher 1998 Suzuka
2. Ralf 2000
3. Jean Alesi 1995
4. Hakkinen 1998 or 9
5. JV 1997 - love this helmet
and you are right in the old days it was nice when they kept their design today they all look the same to me

I didn't want my face to show in the reflections :D. No, I really love the design and as a Trulli fan, it represents a great memory and of course it's signed too! However for the list, a lot of different factors decided the order. It might also have been the spur of the moment and my list might already look very different now!

I love the 98 Japan helmet 🥰. It could do with a Japanese flag decal added to the rear to make it even more accurate 🤪
Good choice for number 1! That's my favourite Schumi helmet too. I actually have the original listed on eBay at the moment; it's in excellent condition. I'm selling as I've properly pimped-out the Spain re-release with Marlboro branding, tear-offs, added vents, tape/foam box to the front, aerial cords and added rain droplets to the visor etc.
Just a quick note though about the MS Spain 1996 re-release - the MS logo isn't missing, it was added after this particular race (not sure exactly which race) so it is technically ok.

The Schumi Japan indeed still needs the Japanese flag on it to make it more complete, maybe I'll ask someone to make me one.
I never noticed the Schumi 1996 only had the MS logo added later on in the season. This then means my European GP version then is wrong 😭, and not the re-release!!

@@GreatChampionsTinyCars I've just been through all the races in 1996 and the MS logo first appeared at Spa - incidentally there were no more tobacco-free races from there so the half-scale helmet isn't based on a particular race at all. I've only just found this out myself - 27 years too late 😅.

Great collection, my number 1 would be Schumacher Japan 1998, btw were did you get the Button 2004 helmet? I have never seen the HP1 shape on a half scale helmet before

I bough it from a Portugese webshop I think, it was a long time ago already, maybe more than 10 years! I think only this one and the Montagny Renault helmet have been produced.

First of all Great Video !
I love the 98 Schumacher Suzuka Helmet the chrome really looks stunning.
Unfortunatley this one is hard to get because i would love to have one of those.
I also saw in one of your last Videos the 2001 US Gp Helmet from Schumi.
From where did you get this one ?
Was it a Schuberth release or was it a Custom one ?

Thanks! The Schumi USA GP is indeed a custom one. The Minichamps 1/2 chrome helmet has been used as a base as it's almost the exact same shape.
tha paintwork is really well done, but the helmet itself is not without small flaws. The visor is still the old Minichamps version though, which is no good, I hope to replace it one day. Also the grey visor opening latch is missing on it...
