- My review of the IXO Hyundai i20 Rally1 modelcar as driven by Belgian crew Thierry Neuville & Martijn Wydaeghe at the 2023 Rally Croatia. For this rally the Hyundai World Rally Team used a special livery in the colors of the Irish flag to commermorate Craig Breen, their team mate who passed away in a testing accident prior to the event.

It's still sensibly priced compared to what else it available. But yes, in essence it's an expensive toy.
Very nice model, also I’ve watched tour f1 car reviews and I was wondering where you get the tiny bar-code decals for the tires.

It's certainly pretty good for the price if you can look over the flaws. Not really a Rallye fan but I still like the aggressive look of these WRC cars
Coincidentally I just received my first 1:18 Ixo model in the 2017 Porsche 919 Le Mans winner.
It looks great overall, has of course some flaws but on discount for around 57€, it's absolutely fine for me!
As long as you don't look at the IXO models from up close, they are kinda good. Price is top notch though, so I won't complain too much!

@@mhh7544 That Autoart Delta is a fantastic model to have! And of course Henri was a true hero of the Group B era, sadly missed now...
@@GreatChampionsTinyCars Jep.....but I guess thats how legends are made...forever on special stage , just like Craig....mayor of Brattby....Hard pill to swallow that he too is gone.
Realy cool car, but I m not a big IXO fan...A shame that the spark WRC's are only 1:43...
TSM will make a more detailed version of it. I'm fine with this IXO model, definitely not prepared to pay almost triple the money for the TSM model though.
I have had a hard time respecting Neuville since the news came that his old co driver left him when Neuville wanted to pay him even less in covid times, and his normal salery wasnt more than a normal worker has...
We'll probably never know the whole story, so that is something that's between Thierry and Nicolas. I doubt it's only about money since Thierry donates to a charity at every round the compete in the WRC, but again, I don't know all the ins and outs of it.
@@GreatChampionsTinyCars Friends that are friends with certain people can mean that you get to know alot more than what is speculated about on social media... I think the charity work is more to improve his image and it surely fools alot of people.
