Love all the decorating. Noticed the window in the entrance which gives more natural light. Like the cubes under the console that gives a nice contrast. The floor mirror is in a perfect spot which reflects more light. My favorite is the view outside with the snow covered woods. You could add an accent of color like a vase or throw. Something small. Love the floor lamp over the couch. It looks nice on during the day giving more of a warmth. I'm with you on the shower curtain. I love my rod and waffle weave curtain. Beautiful!

I might have a solution for your damages around the photo gallery above your bed: put a board which covers the damaged wall paper/wall and then hang the photo frames on it.

You could put a neutral blanket over the side of the crate to make it blend in more
