I just bought the 55lb thrust . I’ve never owned one before I’ve never done any boating. I got an inflatable boat that I’m going to use it with. Whenever I connect it to the battery… is it OK to test it by turning it on if it’s not in water? With the area around the propeller clear of course.
My endure 30lb just burnt out after 20 years. Picked up the 55 today and I'm hoping to get out tomorrow. Thanks for the review

So what TopSpeed did you get out of your 30 pound when you had it moving on the back I’m thinking my 30 lb.pushes about 3 mph?

I send mine after using of one year back, the Propeller make some sounds most of the when I drive backwards. They need to check this. Greetings

My only disappointment was why didn't min Kota use tinned wire instead of bare copper for wire in a wet environment. Copper will corrode...
How many hours do you get a day?
Most Ive ran it is 12 hours and it still seemed to be going strong. Top speed did drop to about 2.8mph towards the end of the day though.
