I keep having the VM freeze with 100% CPU utilization showing in Virt Mach Manager. Makes it to the "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD...", but shows the white spinning circle and freezes with the "TianoCore" emblem right after. Any thoughts?
Checked the logs and I'm getting, "2022-09-22T00:37:29.378246Z qemu-system-x86_64: warning: host doesn't support requested feature: MSR(48FH).vmx-exit-load-perf-global-ctrl [bit 12]". Looking for answers now. Will post here if I come up with an answer.
Thanks. I managed to find it on debian synaptic package manager. I tried virtualbox but it kept freezing and I could not find a solution only others having the same problem.
@@wakesiah i get an error, im in manjaro, where can did you get the imfo for installing KVM properly? because I also get error when setting TPM emulated dor win 11, thanks for responding
I installed fedora on my laptop(256GB ass/16gb ram and i7 8550U), and installed windows 11, kvm is only good for desktop computers, I almost threw up. But I have to say, kvm made the whole experience more tolerable.

For anyone wondering, I have enabled my host virtualization settings in host UEFI.
It was the install media. At this time, Win 11 build 22H2 does not boot correctly. Win 10 worked not problem.

my TPM says not supported, but my laptop can install windows 11... something wrong with mine :/
but kvm has no 3d acceleration
Yes it does if you set your video to virtio (not QXL) then an option for 3D acceleration will become available. :)
