What I especially love about you and your channel is that you use the pedals in so many different ways in so many styles of music that it shows the flexibility in a whole different approach. The last song had me mesmerized and I saw you posted the song of what it was. I would never have thought of using a pitch pedal to play some other style that wasn’t rock adjacent. Because then it shows how much more melodic you can make pedals and use them to create different soundscapes that aren’t focused on a specific genre, which too many YTers do. So thank you for expounding my eyes and ears to what can be done!
Also, ready for another Cyberattack album/single! I know you’re working on it, just after this video, stoked to hear how you implement this into it

Pitch shifters are effects I've avoided for the longest time, thanks for the ideas. Looking forward to trying this out.

You are a master at your craft. You really know how to get the most out of your effects. I wouldn't typically use these effects but what I love about your videos is getting a glimpse at how your mind works and how you hear music. Its very creative and unique.

@@CyberattackWorld I love the range of stuff you pull things from. My tip to you, although you've probably done it, is to feed a pitch shifter into the SL-2. You may appreciate this, or not. th-cam.com/video/c42Chge1QRw/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/sp388VU-rzw/w-d-xo.html

Great stuff. The Attack/Decay needs a Pro Tip episode. The ehx Superego Plus has an expression pedal input and also has delay and pitch shifting in the effects. You gave me some ideas. Thanks.

The first time I used the Boss Harmonizer, I didn't understand why it sounded so dissonant. Then I realized it wasn't shifting at fixed a interval and it blew my mind. I completely forgot about the song I was working on and experimented with it for at least a couple of hours.

I second the Perfect 5th technique; it's fantastic. It makes even basic chords sound somewhat otherworldly, especially with reverb and other modulation. I think pitch shifters are amazing especially if you are in a creative rut. I always found using alternate tunings will help me think a bit differently, and pitch shifters can work in a very similar way.

My EHX Pitchfork is the Swiss Army knife of my pedalboard. One moment you think you’ve done everything with that pedal… and then you plug an expression pedal into it. Truly an amazing tool.

Hell yeah. Love fucking around with pitch shifters.
I've got two right now - a Pitchfork before dirt that I'm mainly using for #2 in your video, such a fat and large sound - and then an H9 right before delays and reverbs which basically does the late 90s-early 00s Fripp thing with two harmonised notes over and under the played note on a particular patch.
#5 should also work great on the EHX Deluxe Memory Boy which can have almost any value be EXP controlled. Using the square wave modulation it in gets you amazing pitch jumps at more regular time intervals too, that sound is all over my records.
Bonus tip for anyone with a Boss SY-200: you can use the secondary footswitch to glissando away to any interval, quickly or slowly and latching or momentary. Super effective!

The low tech way would sound so good with the ending section of “Trident Tail” by tera melos. The slow jazzy chords part of the song. Wish I had the ability to achieve that sound you produced, but I lack “money!” To get the pedals.
