I really have to say that almost no one understands the story.
I tried to know what is the story of this game about, everyone said to me that the story is good, but when i asked for it, no one could say me something.

the thing is they just feed u with many things at start but you will understand the gist of it after you meet jinhsi

Great video i now understand the world of wuthering waves more since the story made it difficult for me to pay attention to and it felt like they gave us too much info at once.
The writing in this game made my head hurt but I kind of got the gist of it, but didnt quite catch some things that you clarified like the Etheric sea and cross marks or resonators and theyr marks and powers which I havent gotten explained and I dont know why yet. Everything is okay . But after finishing the story i still don’t get what is our purpose in the game like what to expect next and are there other sentinel other than that dragon . Like fish , tiger , any other being. Other thing i notice most of the characters ability is in dragon form . So if we went to some different nation or some other city will there power be different form based on the sentinel or am i just cooking my own story. As far as i can tell story is shit . Don’t even know what is the purpose of the rover and what to expect in future.
I think ur on the right track! (I haven’t finished the story) but they did mention other cities outside jinzhou have their own sentinels and jinzhou has 6 I believe. It’s possible the other places have different sentinels

In the story they said that the sentinel have different form in other regions. And yeah there is chance that we will get chars with power from other form.
The rover is an entity that is revived periodicaly to help defeat Threnodians basically and of course there is more dept in it but things will take time to develop.
There is so far 3 "factions" in the world.
People under the sentinels guidance probably with different aspect in different region. For the actual part it is basically everyone in the city under the commandement of Jinhsi and Jiyan (mostly the military part)
The black shores, a group of people that analyse datas and events to predict the next Lament and help city to prepare for the battle. Rover was part of the group previously (and somehow again this time after his encounter with Aalto etc...)
And the group of Scar that i don't remember the name, but basically they are on the side of Threnodians, helping them who knows how exactly. They want the Rover to be on their side too, at least Scar want that.
There are other small group of course but they don't realy impact the main story too much.
Regarding the futur, at the end of 1.0 Jinhsi is trying to find the sentinel that was kidnaped by Scar group but the prophety apparently implies that she'll need to fight the sentinel, so maybe the sentinel is corrupted. And there is in my opinion a strong probability that the Rover will try to help for that. But we will see.
Next generation of humanity is cooked they literally tell you in the story that there was an a legendary hero in the past with a power just like yours that absorbed a threnodian its not hard to put 2 and 2 together like use your brain dawg.
In lore human becoming a tacit not true because stated corrupted lifeforms into mutation organisms, the man voice cheerful about safe the day so scarier than actually is so make the heroes greater than actually happen.
Man i hope they are able to show the story better bc these are actually interesting and should be stuffed in long dialog that loses people interest after a while

the echoes made the gameplay fun tbh problem with genshin when you play too much you get bored of the character doing the same thing not with wuwa you can swap echoes and try out new skills from them...this could be one of the gacha games that could truly be fun without pulling...the unit you we're given are strong enough already (not busted for obvious reason)

THE COMMUNITY NEEDS TO GET TOGETHER. The CBT 1 version story was a way more fleshed out and intriguing story. However, the beta testers disagreed with some things about the story. So Kuro had re-done the entire story in a rush to cater to their pleas before release. With the full release, people are realizing the CBT 1 version had a better story, and the full version was gutted of its story! Kuro wasn't recognized for their storytelling and original direction because of those beta testers. The community needs to help Kuro realize their original talent and vision for Wuthering Waves would've been well received, and they should stay true to it in the future. Please learn more about the CBT 1 situation and help Kuro.
