      Don't put yourself down. From WV south and west to Sierras and Cascades there are things that resemble pe4ole, but who have only mastered a few isolated words of English.
      THeir trick is they draw a single word out to as long as it takes a California girl to recite the Oxford Unabridged dictionary.

      Powerswish as someone who has several Pittsburgh friends and relatives but is not from Pittsburgh, his interpretation is not that far off. It was definitely exaggerated a bit for the joke

      There's a little twang in how you say "ou" like "house" is "haas" and "down" is "dahn" and there's bits of words like "n'at" and "nebby" and "pop" that either no one else in the region uses or no one else uses at all. It sounds completely normal growing up in it. I never knew I had one till my roommate and his friends who aren't from here pointed it out

    The Pittsburgh accent is hard to do. I left the area 20 years ago at 17 and I can do British accent but just can’t nail Pittsburgh. This coming from someone who grew up with their entire extended family and ancestors from there. This comedian can’t nail it either. I watched Seth Myers do his a week or two ago. It was frickin fantastic. Go check it out if yinz get a kick out of good Pittsburgh accents. For old times sake.
