OneUi comes with unlock transition effect on by default. Strange that yours was off.
Anyway, I just like the app closing animation of OneUi better. Only Pixel (stock) and OneUi are doing "different" app closing animation with a little 'bounce' effect at the end. The rest are following Apple with overall smooth landing. Good for them. But I just like the other ones better.

Also i done know why no one is talking about shooting hdr video option for oneplus. I didnt found any option to shoot hdr videos in oneplus flagship device and also most annoying issue is hdr video playback. Yes it has hdr support on prime video and netflix but when you play video it will show a normal brightness and very much darker videos.

There is bug in the OnePlus 12
When you switch from one app to another and go back ,The app is not responsive for a moment when it is switched.
Can you confirm. There is slight delay before app is working again even it is in ram memory
