Like most deck builders, the goal is to obtain stronger cards in order to take on stronger bosses and win the game. In this War on Cybertron stand alone expansion you also have to manage the planet itself being destroyed as you fight.

Love this game. I have everything but War On Cybertron. I might pick it up just because.
I think this is starting to grow on me a little.
It's funny the two times I've seen the notification that you're playing this game, I think uhh probably not for me. Start watching it anyway and all of a sudden I'm in it to the end. Question, not knowing much about the game, but I feel like at one point you said anytime an enemy, so in this case a decepticon, is destroyed it should be replaced with a ruin, correct? If so, it seems like you made it even harder on yourself because you were replacing dead decepticons with new cards for the matrix, then flipping them and destroying them thanks to the world's worst scheme. Anyway just wondering, cuz I think there was once or twice where you destroyed maneuvers that were placed on the board after a decepticon was destroyed when they should have been ruined that would have capped out that scheme.
There was a lot of triggers to keep track of in this one so it wouldn’t surprise me if I missed a few things. Glad you’re enjoying and gave it a chance!
This is a really strange game. Also do each Bot have a set deck that helps their power, or just a power?
It’s the same starting hand for every character.
They have introduced new starting cards in other expansions. Like the Decepticon base game has a little change but they are mostly the same. The Constructicon one has the bots that become the giant one as part of their hand. I haven't played that one myself so not sure how much it truly varies but it's a nice touch.
