Today, the music died again with the passing of David Crosby. 💔 I am saddened and grateful for Crosby's music to be a true presence in my life of 68 years. I had the honor and pleasure of seeing Crosby preform 3 times in my life's journey. On a beautiful fall night at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, Crosby walked to the front of the stage while Stills was playing a solo part of a song. David stood there looking out at the crowd like proud elder looking upon his children. His long freak flag hair still blowing in the night wind. His stern mustached smile and laughing eyes approved of our following. Crosby's meer presence was magically powerful! His music and lyrics and personality are part of the greatest musical revolution the world has ever seen! David wanted to change the world and his music will live forever! We have lost a giant today and I will miss this icon of Rock-N-Roll. There is a saying now that reads - WHERE HAVE ALL THE HIPPIES GONE?! In David's memory I ask you all to again RISE UP to change the world! We numbered in the 10's of millions and were the most progressive generation in the history of this world lead by the likes of John Lennon, The Grateful Dead, Neil Young, and David Crosby! We need to continue our revolution now! Don't let David's efforts die in vain! We need you to come back to the ideas of PEACE and EQUALITY and TOLERANCE! STAND UP AGAIN! Stunning, absolutely stunning. The 1970s is bashed for a lot of things- disco and polyester suits come to mind- but was also an INCREDIBLE decade for iconic movies, and the best rock music ever made.
