@@fishintheirbasstv3685 I just started fishing and a big part of why I'm struggling staying into fishing and convincing myself to buy a pole (instead of using an extra one my step dad has) and stuff is because Ive only caught 2 fish after like 5 fishing trips haha 😂 I've been fishing only during either 5am-8am and then from 5pm-8pm

Just as others have mentioned, it does need a dab of oil before you use it th-cam.com/users/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e - put a few drops in through the convenient screw cap and you are good to go! I have fished several weeks with a couple of these, and I will be getting more in the future. I put these against my Abu Garcia Pro Max reel, and they actually perform a bit better than the Abu with some of my lighter cranks, and definitely just as good with the rest of my lures. My Abu is a bit more low profile and fits my hand better, but these are definitely not bad at all. You can almost get 3 of these for the price of my Pro Max. My only complaint is the thumb bar sits pretty high compared to my traditional profile Abu. Bring that thumb bar down a little and I’m sold on these all day long.

You’re videos have been extremely helpful. Using info learned from them I’ve been pulling in some nice bass regularly and just picked up my first bait casting setup and can’t wait to put it to use. Not a big bass fisher up until last summer where I got some nice bass for the lake I was kayaking on. To get me in the swing of things I look up recent bass videos the last two weeks and now see I am catching bass that you shrug off down in the humid Florida/Georgia waters. You're awesome and have inspired me to explore more lakes. Keep it up! I am going to to get me a Mach rod when I get out to cabelas next.
