What color lipless crank bait is that? I have to give it a try after all those fish you caught on it.
Final update: this little reel is the little engine that could th-cam.com/users/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e . It performed flawlessly and was easy to adjust drag in the moment while I was battling a 35lb bat ray behemoth. Mind you, this reel is spooled with only 25 lb braid and 25 mono topshot. It's paired with the kastking telescopic heavy power rod and the two work well together. This has now earned my respect and confidence when traveling and fishing. If you have ever hooked into large rays and sharks, you know they pull extremely hard and can run forever! This thing clamped down on the fish and was easy to adjust during the fight. It has a nice decently fast retrieve as well. Twice the fish went on mad runs and I was able to gain back line quickly to avoid spooling.

Toss a Daredevil in the classic red and white colors.
weightless senko in watermelon red or any color really
Cast a natural color senko texas rigged weightless next to reeds and let that puppy sit for about 10 seconds then ever so slightly twitch twitch. 9/10 they will eat it on the fall. They will smack it. Cast in front of vegetation if you have any where you fish. I use the yum dinger

I drive by there to go fish over by Lake Mayer almost everyday. I just started fishing about a year ago and love it. Have learned so much from you brother and I appreciate it. Noah has the biggest heart in the youtube fisherman comunity hes always giving back to the people that watch him. this man is a legend and look at how far its took him hes got a perfrct fishing setup and a super strong youtube family.hes by far my favorite i hope to meet him one day and maybe even get to fish. i lost someone to pancreatic cancer and we lost him in under 6 months i hope everyone in the family the best.

I just bought my first bait-caster. I can't get it to stop casting 90 degrees off to the side. What's the trick to casting these things. I'm about to cast it into the lake.

Release it earlier and it won’t do it, I had the same issue but once I put a heavier weighted lure on and released the spool earlier in the casting motion it helped a lot.

@@jessicaho19 no problem! Just practice casting without releasing too. When you release, point the rod tip pretty much just to the side of the target (if you cast with your rod right handed slightly to the right of the target, and vice Vera for left) once you have the thumbing down it’s really just a whole game of counteracting the direction the bait goes with your hands
