- Fishing with Live Minnows in the Creek! We head to go fishing in a couple of local creeks in Delaware with a mission - catch anything that bites! You NEVER know what might be swimming in the creek! From smallmouth, to trout, to some other BIG fish, we attempt to see how many different kinds of fish we can catch! Another beautiful day creek fishing w/ worms and minnows - but I did not expect for this to happen..

Bro what. My minnows die with perfect water and a self aerating insulated bucket but those minnows survive in a styrofoam cup with no water in a vending machine

I love using the fishing for whatever wants to bite approach especially on saltwater for filling the cooler. Beautiful creek!

I’ve caught at least 30 large mouths with tadpoles and minnows from the same lake. So you should catch the minnows from the same lake instead of artificially bread minnows.

Hey first state, I got a lure it's a blue fox spinner bait, those work really well for trout where I grew up Oregon I got a tip from a fisherman to use em and they work idk what makes them work better but blue fox lures work really well for trout

Just went to Boone NC a week ago and snagged some nice creek chubs, trout and rock bass on works and spinners. Was a fun time and a nice town to check out

1. Pond vs creek vs ocean (see what produces the must in 1 day).
2. Do a blooper computation vid
3. Delaware has about 15 beaches nobody goes to. Port Mason, Bowers, Fowers, Cape Henlopen, Slaughter, etc. Explore them and see how they produce

@@FirstStateFishing Cabela's had Abu Garcia baitcast combos on sale so I picked up an Abu Garcia Zata combo. Saved myself $100 with the deal. Was gonna go with a Shimano SLX or Diawa Tatula CT but couldn't pass up this deal

Must suck not being able to find minnows I go to the beach and catch them with a net and I could get 75+ minnows an hour
You gotta fish redmill pond sweetbriar pipes!!!! There’s hogs and all kinds of de species! I also supply henlopen bait and tackle if you need some minnows! Live right by the Hudson fields

I like red worms the most. always have good luck with those since they are small worms.

Honestly I feel like minnows are underrated, I caught my biggest long nose gar on a couple, and he was just shy of 3 ft

Been fishing at my local lakes and caught lots of largemouth at around 4 lbs and a few northerns.
W video! Quick tip tho u should hook the minnow through the nose.

@FirstStateFishing you should try a Cuban yoyo hand line for a challenge . It's how I fish and I pull in some big saltwater fish . And little creek trout. 15 lb mono and cast master lures or drop shot rigs with baited circle hooks and you'll be set !

Minnows rule but the hooks kind big and easy to see. Still should slay them. We string minnows with double hooks in the back. Hook everything.

My favorite seafood dinner dish at a restaurant is a cioppino. It'd be cool to see if you could try to make that or make your version of a cioppino. You should Google the recipe. It's delicious 😋
Go up to North Carolina and fish the pamlico river you can find some of the biggest speckeled trout and red drum in the south
You should go saltwater fishing, only using vegetables as bait

I think you'll be super happy in FL, where you can freshwater and saltwater fish all year round. I live here and yeah houses are EXPENSIVE. But I'll look into getting a new build on a community. The interest rates are 4% with their lender, which is the same way I got my house and I only put $7.5k down and my mortgage is less than rent around here. (Southern Homes was my builder, I don't know their current quality of work, I bought in 2018, but they were amazing to work with)
I'd like to see creek fishing in North Florida/Southern Georgia area.
I fish on the James River in Va. People have walked into my lines when I was catfishing and one time I almost his someone with a cast cause they popped out of the bushes.
