I am currently looking for how to do this on a russian Beko refrigerator - there are no parts or instructions for it. And on Hotpoint everything is so simple
Hotpoint rls175p fridge seal replacement gasket ordered from the hotpoint spares site. Was extremely difficult to fit. The grooves to slot it back in did not match the old ones at all and looks to be a 3rd party part. The original part was white and the replacement was grey with different grooves.
I've got same problem with frigde gasket. I ordered a new gasket and I followed the steps how to remove it ..but surprise ...my gasket has adhesive tape on it ...and I tried to take it out and fix the new one with adhesive tape but didn't work .. I will be happy to give an advice what to do... Thanks 🙏🙏
I have noticed my seal has split at the bottom hinge and the magnetic strip is exposed. It has also frosted at the back at the top going down about a third. Do you think the door seal be the cause of the frosting? I have a Hotpoint RLA34 fridge.
We have a HMB313I and the seal doesn’t look like it will come off as easy as this one. I’m sure it’s glued on - please help as I don’t want to wreck it. I’ve bought the spare seal already but nervous about damaging my fridge altogether. Any advise please...
hi marc ,nothing in my life has ever been as easy or as simple as it should be so i have an old hotpoint rfa52p and my freezer door seal is knackered which is leading to excessive ice build up, only thing is removing my seal is nothing like the one in this vid, my seal seems like its bonded in place as when i pull it off its looks like its glued in place and the glue is tearing off with some sort of intenal foam attached to it also , any ideas?

Misleading video. It may be a "breeze" for that particular model, certainly not the case for others. Mine is Hotpoint RFAA52P. I gave up after struggling to remove old seal. Will be returning replacement.
Model RFAA52P bought a new freezer door seal and it does not go on anything like this!!! Had to really tug the old one out with a ripping sound and had to use levers to enable the new one to be inserted into the door. Now can't close the door! Maybe your man could come and show us how to do it? Not happy
Hi Julie This can be quite common and potentially be happening to your appliance. We would need a little more information on this issue, but it does sound like your compressor is running at 100% all the time when it doesn't need to be. I just replaced a seal for a RFA52. What an absolute pain in the @r$£. No instructions with the spare. Seal appeared to be glued on so you can imagine the effort f getting it off and trying to slide the new one in place. I dare Hotpoint to do a video for this model 🤬🤬😁😁
Hi Marc Unfortunately that number isn't the appliances model number....R134A is the type of Gas the appliances uses but not the model number. Inside of the door (or behind the salad trays) there should be a white sticker with the model number on. Let me know and I'd be happy to help find the part you're looking for. Come on man you didn't put the note after putting up the new seal. That's half advertisement.
This may help as I picked up a mini fridge for free with multiple holes and mold in the seal

If you're fitting a full-height freezer seal, you'll need somebody to help you. It is not the quick simple task portrayed in the video!

Mine is beko. The old one is literally glued in place and in behind the metal of the fridge. Tried it and gave up before I got into trouble
