The mannerisms of all 3 are the same as in the tv show. It like they werent acting but rather just being themselves. R.I.P. David. Long live Starsky and Hutch!!!
The love, chemistry & friendship between Paul & David remains after decades have passed. No surprise that the Starsky & Hutch show is one of television's all time favorites!
David soul was my hearthrob in the 70s I had pictures of him all over my bedroom wall and had all his songs still have a soft spot for him now and I'm 52 years old.
I had a little cry when it was announced on the news that David had died, it was at that moment that i realised what a big effect watching Starsky and Hutch still had on me despite watching it all those years ago in the 1970's
I just discovered this clip and was never aware of any of this. These guys were responsible for making me want to be a cop when I was a young teen (who didn't) because I thought you can really go out there and make a difference in the world and still be cool and have all kind of Great Adventures (and girlfriends). Of course the reality of being a cop is just a little bit different lol, although when you are occasionally able to make a difference in someone's life you feel like you are at the end of a great Starsky & Hutch episode... I've been on the job for 30 years now and never looked back and to see these guys together again and the love they have for each other and they still have that same sctick between them it is an absolute joy to behold. This was one of the most uplifting hours I have spent in a very long time and the incredible camaraderie, wit and humor between these guys is incredible... all three of them. The way this ended with Paul doing what he did had me in stitches it just could not have ended in a better way and was so reminiscent of the chemistry these guys always have together and they have not lost a step all these years I hope God keeps them around for a very long time and I hope they realize how much we still need them. They should do a TV special where they are both retired cops and doing private investigative work together or some kind of mishap brings them together and they have to solve it... You know the usual Segway into whatever Adventure they would get into and are trying to solve a case and then need Huggy Bear to help them solve it... look, if Raymond Burr could come back as Perry Mason after 80 years and pull it off I think these guys would do a bang-up job and it's not about being able to jump over the hood of a Gran Torino anymore ( although Paul looks like he still could seriously) it's that outrageous chemistry between these guys that's just natural and organic it's timeless I was mesmerized just watching this I can't imagine if they put that chemistry back on the screen I really think from 8 to 80 everybody would love it. Anywho, just a big fan from Chicago. Peace, Bob M.
@@barbarabrusatori8585 Barbara, I forgot about that you are right they can't directed and produced it if they want so I will keep my fingers crossed to thanks for the kind response. Peace, Bob
What they did with Perry Mason reunion movies in the 80's and 90's is the gold standard and they should've done the same for Starsky and Hutch & Magnum PI.
That is something i would haave likd to see , and David spoke about that in an interview , he said there was talk about them making a film 30 yrs on , showing wat became of the guys , but there was more to be earned by producing a movie with two actors , well then why couldn't David & Paul have been those actors rather than jst be in there for a fleeting moment as Cameo's. why have Owen & wilson play their parts and quite frankly it was Tosh (Not very good), for me it was very painful watching them try to be like David & Paul. it came so naturally from them.
What a enjoyable moment!!! The three guys together. It's awesome. Very good memories about Starsky and Hutch, the best TV serie ever. I love you, guys!
I must’ve been 4 or 5 when I started watching Starsky and Hutch in 80 or 81. Some of the best memories I have with my dad. These gentlemen will always be special to me.

Around 24min mark. Loved it when Paul whispered in David's ear (with his microphone for once), 'they thought we were fighting in the trailer!' The look on David's face was priceless. Paul then slapped his hand on the table with his classic cheeky grin. Read between the lines, people.

Oh my god, i'm 50 years old "kid" from Buenos Aires, Argentina, i hope to get there once in my life to be part of this reunion with the guys one day. Thanks to share!
Paul does look good though he is older than his Starsky days naturally. Well, Paul has a strong spirit considering his private life & what he endured with the loss of his wife & daughter. He has a hell of a lot of courage to continue. Guess he has to as he is survived by them. He has a great sense of humour by the looks of it too. These guys were quite a team & still are today. It was great to see their cameos in the S & H movie with Ben Stiller. In fact, having them in it made the movie more worthwhile. Still think Ben & Owen are great but there is only one Starsky & Hutch. Also David also does look good here, better than before.
@@kimberlywiederhold627 The movie was rubbish. You and David are right. I love Ben Stiller but the movie was bad. It should have been serious but fun like the series
You can’t beat seeing these guys like this. I was in my middle teens when they were in Starsky and Hutch. I had t-shirts, a Starsky sweater (y’all know what I’m talking about),posters on my wall, every magazine they were in and on and on. They were my lifeline. I was in an abusive home and watching Starsky and Hutch allowed me to escape for an hour. I desperately wanted to marry Paul. When he married Elizabeth I cried and moped for days. Then later when he lost her and his daughter, I cried and cried for days. These gentlemen were very important in my life and seeing them again like this is a real treat!! Thank you for posting this video.
This is the first I've seen this. Who would have thought that David Soul had such an amazing singing voice. I saw a location shot in downtown LA back then when I was just 18 years old and on my own 2500 miles away from home. Saw the Grand Torino screeching by and then the actors appeared and did their dialogue. It was way cool.
Huggy, David & Paul... Thank you all for part of my life in the 70s I love you all I have the DVDs I once had a toy gun set with both plastic guns the badges, handcuffs bought it at JC Penneys.. Again Thanks Guys... Rest in Peace David!

Love these three and I have had brushes with their friends and Family a little in California and Scottsdale Arizona,.as well. It's been fun for me, to look back at their careers. I mean not only about Paul and David, but Antonio and Bernard [Bernie The BIG BOSS Capt. Dobey] as well. David has done more than 1 song and 1 album to those who haven't followed or payed attention. Both David and Paul have Directed from Miami Vice Episodes to Film as well. There is quite a lot that has happened in all 4 of the cast members lives, so when I hear people say stuff like "Huh, I wonder what happened to So & So..." I usually roll my eyes and reply "Well heck! Look them up, do a little research and it gets' interesting. Use a little energy and concentration, ya know. It can be fun too. You learn more about that person that you might have not known that will interest you too.

David's father, Richard Solberg was an ordained Lutheran minister. His brother followed in their father's footsteps and also became an ordained Lutheran minister.
From France : I just discovered this video too. As U may know, we can never hear the real voices of actors (well as far as old series are concerned :) So we had dubbing men who were actors too. I thought the sense of humour was theirs, but it seems that DS & PM have their own too :) I want to send a huge hug to Antonio Fargas : considered as the 3rd one, or was it Captain Dobey ? Without you Antony, it wouldn't have been such a big hit. Thanks

David sure loves to talk. Luckily he's good at it. And I love to listen to him! What a great panel! Since I couldn't be there and can't make it to NOLA Con, I thank you for posting this!
You’re most welcome for the posting. But just a quick note: NOLA is not a con. It’s a very private event with dinners, mingle time, Q&A, drinks and dessert, brunch, and a few other things thrown in. It’s all about spending quality time with them in a more relaxed and private setting. I’m sorry you can’t make it! It promises to be better than the last two private tribute events we held for them in 2013 and 2014. Those of you who went to those know how special these kinds of reunions are.
I have been in love with David Soul since I was 4 yrs old and saw him on Starsky and Hutch! I still feel the same way every time I watch an episode 💞 3 lovely handsome guys that are important from my youth, I thought huggiebear was so cool!

David's father, Richard Solberg was an ordained Lutheran minister. His brother followed in their father's footsteps and also became an ordained Lutheran minister.
Los he amado toda mi vida, sobre todo a David Soul fuiste el amor de mi vida, que alegria verlos hoy.
Noticed no one brought up Paul Michael Glasser's Fiddler on The Roof in which his performance was superb.
Thanks

Nice to see them all get together and have these interactions with the fans.
David sure loves to talk. Luckily he's good at it. And I love to listen to him! What a great panel! Since I couldn't be there and can't make it to NOLA Con, I thank you for posting this!
They could have easily done another hour. We all got kicked out for another panel and that was disappointing.
Should have steered them toward the bar. In the hotel. ;-)
The Moon And Stars It was morning! 😉
What, you don't drink in the morning? Mimosa! ;-)
Awesome share! Everyone was having fun. Thank you :)
