I can relate to this in a way. I was diagnosed with lung cancer when on the night I was diagnosed I woke to an old lady knelt beside me with a warm and caring smile, i still feel her warm presence in my home all th time, so yeah I guess I can label myself a believer.

I disagree with the scientifically verified evolution part because there is no fossil evidence that shows the progression of fish into walking animals and so on. If there are spiritual entities and occurences that he has encountered that are of ill intent, why cant there be angelic entities with loving intent??
