Call me sick whatever but i loved the finale. All what happened between brio makes so much sense to me. If you look closely to all their scenes Rio pushing Beth to her limits to really embrace her inner boss bitch was the main theme! He always told her she needs to learn how to handle problems in her life, he taught her that every time. He saw Turner being real pain in her ass for 2 seasons and i do believe he wanted to help her to solve this problem herself. Yes, in his weird way. But rio is being rio lol. He always does that! Of course beth is still in denial she is a criminal and is not ready to kill anybody yet. She is fighting that dark side of her and her feels for Rio are a big part of it. And shooting him was basically her shooting her feels for him which she hates so much. She truly hates being so vulnerable and weak around him and thinks he's been playing her which makes it even worse. She loves and hates him you know? She hates she doesn't know anything about him, hates seeing him with another woman, hates he has power over her to bring her back and then dump her , being soft and then rude. She's tired and "knowing him is like having a newborn" lol. She really thinks he is her problem, her drug, her poison. She never was triggered so much by Turner or Boomer. But she truly is by rio on many levels. That's why shooting him made her feel victorious in some way. The right thing to do. To set herself free. That's what she thinks. Kinda parallels with her throwing him under the bus in s1. Basically what happened between them is him being over her refusing to be the boss bitch he sees her and her being over him pushing her so hard to her limits. They are so tragic in their weird way. Sobs. Oh and relax of course he is alive. 100000% positive. And they love each other despite being two psychos. I don't want you to put thumbs down because you hated the finale but i know many of all will anyway..this vid was a real challenge to make. Even had to use 2 songs. So try to be nice. Yess...I totally agree. I think people were so caught up in “Brio” that they aren’t putting everything into perspective. Rio never commits to something without thoroughly thinking things out. Beth is unable to face her problems head on without Rio. I believe that this was fully planned to distract from Rio so he could finally “flip his game” & be out...

When is beth going to realize that the security camera in rio’s loft caught the whole thing on tape? How long will Beth’s denial last about supposedly killing rio? Will Marcus think his dad is dead? I doubt that rio would leave his kid for very long. I would love a scene where beth is at the park, talks to marcus, and then the kid is like “I saw my dad yesterday” and then beth gets paranoid and freaks out. Bottom line: none of the characters on the show are “good” people. They have all fucked up and do what they think is best for themselves and their loved ones. HATS OFF TO THE CASTING DIRECTOR! I don't know if I mentioned this in the past but of all the shows on TV Good Girls is the only one to have a PERFECT cast. From the girls we love to love, down to the husband and store manager we love to hate. These two characters were actually very difficult roles considering the actors are not disgusting people in real life. I'm totally impressed!
I kinda feel like Rio is the victim. He was just going about his gang banging , drug dealing life, taking care of his son. All of sudden this suburban wife drops in and screws his life totally up by stealing his money. His falling for her made him make moves to save her, that ultimately cost him. So, I don't get how he was "using" her as the screenwriter says, she was the one coming back time and again, and he was always looking out for her; regardless of what and how he said it, in the end he was there for Beth. I think Rio totally planned for her to shoot him at the end, he could see that everything he was doing was torturing her and just needed to push her over the edge to become her true potential. So by shooting Rio she gets a fresh start as Turner lets her go so I think the ending was Rios plan all along he wanted Beth to be able to start her own kingdom.

I also want to point out that the whole scene where she shot him appears to have taken place at his empty apartment where he has cameras installed. So umm... interesting location

They unleashed Rio as some ruthless psycho out of nowhere. Why would he just straight kidnap her like that!? It just didn't fit to me. I think something we are not thinking about is the writers wrote this before they knew if they were getting picked up for season 3. So they had to make out like an ending happened. Had they written it knowing for sure they were getting picked up for a third season.

He keep repeating boss, king consistently throughout the season. Beth wants to run shit but dont like to make the hard decisions that come with the lifestyle she claims to be so good at.... And for the ppl who said he used her. Yea he did but in a way to protect himself because keep in mind she did set him up to go to jail in season 1. So even though they have the hots for each other he still as to be cautious because of that he cant completely trust her n let his gaurd down even doh he clearly wants to. RIO is definitely having a hard time separating how he feels for her as a man vs how he as to handle her being a whole crime boss n all.. All in All rio is right beth asked for everything she as gotten. She loves the money thrill but hate making the tuff decision as usual. And onces again he got the shitty end of the stick.

I don't know if I mentioned this in the past but of all the shows on TV Good Girls is the only one to have a PERFECT cast. From the girls we love to love, down to the husband and store manager we love to hate. These two characters were actually very difficult roles considering the actors are not disgusting people in real life. I'm totally impressed!

I kinda feel like Rio is the victim. He was just going about his gang banging , drug dealing life, taking care of his son. All of sudden this suburban wife drops in and screws his life totally up by stealing his money. His falling for her made him make moves to save her, that ultimately cost him. So, I don't get how he was "using" her as the screenwriter says, she was the one coming back time and again, and he was always looking out for her; regardless of what and how he said it, in the end he was there for Beth. What did it get him, shot up.

I think Rio totally planned for her to shoot him at the end, he could see that everything he was doing was torturing her and just needed to push her over the edge to become her true potential. So by shooting Rio she gets a fresh start as Turner lets her go so I think the ending was Rios plan all along he wanted Beth to be able to start her own kingdom.

I also want to point out that the whole scene where she shot him appears to have taken place at his empty apartment where he has cameras installed. So umm... interesting location

I think this a plan of Rio and Elizabeth and that is all an act for Turner to get him off their backs I hope! That's why she was crying because he told her he has to shoot him in order for it to be convincing. He tells her this on the ride to his place where he has Turner gaged. She doesn't want to shoot Rio she loves him but she realizes she has to be that Boss Bitch for Turner to back off! He is not dead they kill the show most of the show is about Rio and Elizabeth chemistry together and that relationship.

I'm one of those people! Lol I have no idea how I feel about the finale. I think they went a little too hard in the finale especially with the twists. They unleashed Rio as some ruthless psycho out of nowhere. Why would he just straight kidnap her like that!? It just didn't fit to me. I know he's been kinda cold towards her because she cut him off but he still helped her out with the money.
And how the hell can Beth even consider trusting Turner!??? HE'S the real psycho here! He's been stalking and investigating her for over a year and she really thinks this shit is over!? She f*cked up big time.

Some of the twists did kind of come out of nowhere (in my opinion, some bad writing was going on in this episode) but I think it mostly came down to Rio wanting Beth to stop toeing the line, he wanted her to stopping pretending as though she could go back to the housewife lifestyle she had before this all got started. And as much as Beth thought she was justified in placing all the blame on him just before she fired the gun, she is by no means innocent in all of this....NOT FOR A SECOND (sorry for the rant k bye)

And for the ppl who said he used her. Yea he did but in a way to protect himself because keep in mind she did set him up to go to jail in season 1. So even though they have the hots for each other he still as to be cautious because of that he cant completely trust her n let his gaurd down even doh he clearly wants to.
RIO is definitely having a hard time separating how he feels for her as a man vs how he as to handle her being a whole crime boss n all..
All in All rio is right beth asked for everything she as gotten. She loves the money thrill but hate making the tuff decision as usual.
