- i know too little brio content but if you watch closely you'll see that there's so much more going on between them. for example beth's wanting to have shower sx with dean in the last ep was all about RIO! and her "i wanna go back" is not about business because you know THE DRESS. the convo with Dean about the dress made my whole week. soooo the vid is about it too, enjoy, my loves. and comment if it hit you right in the feels!

These two are perfect like they have what the other is missing and they fit perfectly if only they stop going back and forth.
She wanted to think it was just a dress but if her only objective was to get back into his good graces then she could’ve made him a run to replace what she’d stolen from him in interest but it wasn’t just about the money, she wants to know he still wants her & thinks she’s got true potential. However, if she actually thinks she can have him killed & there’d be no repercussions then she really is stupid just like she showed when she thought she could steal from him and get away with it.
I think it would be really interesting if this entire season he’s been setting her up for the feds to come after them as like a form of season long payback for shooting him, hiring others to kill him, & stealing from him. He should draw the line on the sand somewhere. It’s time they learn, but mostly Beth, that they may think they’re bosses but compared Rio, all he’s had to do to become leader, and he is the true boss while they’re just babies learning how to crawl.

I never watched this show but, I get it. I never married and don’t have kids but, I’ve lived a pretty regular life. I’m surrounded by coworkers and neighbors who, for the most part, are pretty regular, too.
Some years ago, I ended up working for a guy who was very difficult but, many years into working for him, he suddenly seemed to become attracted to me. I’d always found him attractive but, he was my boss and married. So, I never even bothered or continued to entertain any thoughts about it. But, when he changed, wow, it seemed like both of us were lighting up inside, although I still couldn’t reciprocate. Gave me more than a paycheck as a reason to rise up out of bed in the morning and he seemed to have a lot of pep in his step, too. He stared A LOT and, I guess the only reason why he didn’t seem like a creep to me, was because I liked it and it was exciting. Finally told me he thought I was sexy. Still couldn’t reciprocate. But, it was probably the most exciting time in my career and this guy could’ve had any woman he wanted.
So, moral of the story is that, people die a little each day, doing the mundane. Beth is attracted to Rio and the danger because Dean and her life are dull. It may not be dull by many people’s standards and it’s definitely nice to have a comfortable life. But, inside of many of us, it’s simply what we’ve settled for.

@@ebruekri5631 yeah well, there’s an “opposites attract” dynamic going on there, too. Rio is, perhaps, from the other side of the tracks and wants to know how the good girls are living. There’s the interracial thing there obviously.
Same with my boss and myself. He was white. I’m black. Plus, I don’t think I fit the stereotype he may have always experienced and/or had in his head. In other words, lower position/pay = not that smart. I’m fact,-another employee told me he was afraid of me.
But, yep, neither Beth, nor Rio, want a plain life.

I think Rio has never been loved by a woman in an authentic way considering his line of work. I suppose ex wife broke up with him when she found out what he does and I guess who he is.

That’s what it felt like with my boss as, he was white, I’m black, our backgrounds and body types are different and, for the first few years I worked for him, I would’ve never sussed out that he saw me as anything, but another employee. Apparently, that wasn’t true. I do feel it’s possible that it had nothing to do with me though. Sometimes, what may feel like a man being attracted to you is boredom at work or him not getting needs met at home.

A Beth deveria ter o entregado, porém mais uma vez ela protege o Amante. E o marido dela vai embora. A Ruby, fica olhando pras malas, pensando que vai com o marido embora . Muito besta. Já que seria a última temporada, deveria ser excepcional. Aff. Nada a ver. Aí Beth virou a chefona e ainda vereadora. Era pra mostrar a realidades, entrou no mundo do crime. Cadeia ou cemitério. Péssima série. E se queria da emoção fazendo uma história entre bandido, colocasse uma mulher sem ser casada, pra da mais enredo, aventuras loucas.
