For terrain, one should also remember that the impact of terrain is not just about its match with the scale of the figures, but about the ground scale of the game. So for something like 15mm and below, the ground scale is not often matching the figure scale. For example, doing a non-skirmish game, you might be using 15mm figures with a ground scale of 1" = 50 yards. As long as the terrain piece fits the ground scale of the game, it's going to look OK most of the time - the horiztonal scale (in reference to the ground) is going to matter more than the vertical scale (in reference to the figure) (IMO).
That’s a very good point! Thanks for sharing that. I think I vaguely mentioned it but you definitely explained it a lot better than I did. I think the more specific terrain like buildings always need to be in the correct scale for exactly this reason. However, the more generic geographical pieces like the ones cover in this video can be generally any size. Thanks again for your comment and support!
At some point i felt the "river" it some size of stream. But I like all your comparisons. Im always trying to build things for multipurpose play. Well done.
Thanks. I agree. I think the ground scale plays a part as to what the terrain looks like. A river at 2mm is likely to be something massive like the Mississippi River or Danube. However, that same piece used for 28mm is only really a small local stream crossed by a small bridge. Thanks for your comment and support! Much appreciated and Happy New Year!
A great feature of the hobby is the repurposing. Have a great Christmas.
Thanks John! I hope you have a fantastic Christmas too!
Lovely terrain, glad to see these diffrent units and different periods shown!
Merry Christmas!! Thanks for your comments! I think it’s important to show different periods as war gaming is not just WW2. Thanks for the kind words.

Did you make that swamp yourself or is it a bought product? It looks rather nice.
I bought it off someone but it may have been made by them.
