If you are lucky you only had the carbon brushes pair get burnt and can use the wall chaser after replacing them, worst case you have a blown motor. Tip for the Wall chaser of any kind you may try to use:- Your dust collector isn't strong enough to keep up with the wall chaser there is way too much dust for your dust collector to collect, so do your Wall chaser slot-cutting in two passes about half of your final intended depth for all the cuts you want on the walls. Then take a second final pass with the full depth that you want on all of your walls, this way you can get through your work faster without overwhelming your wall chasers motor your Dust Collectors dust collection. Taking two passes will also allow you to see where the Wall chaser slots will look like from one point to another and make any changes if you find necessary. The dust from the Wall chaser cutting might have gotten sucked into the motor causing it to burn up completely and blow itself up in flames. You can check both the brushes from the screwed black access covers on both sides of the wall chaser. Well if the wall chasher is a lost cause then hope you have your warranty on the product still claimable after your power cord cutting.
Electric tools from Parkside? They look good and feel good new but they are mostly inferior quality.I would not waste money on them! The quality is quite poor no doubt they are cheap to buy but won’t last long.I had in past years bought few electric tools as I thought they are good value for money but later found they never last long and in fact there was one already faulty new out of the box! So guys invest your hard earned cash on better quality tools which will give you a long trouble free service!

Why did you cut the cord? You have a 3yr warranty on it.
In the last part of video seems you push the wall chaser instead to pull like they say in the instruction. Maybe thats becauee broke?
Why tf does it spins the other way?
How can you work with that?
