@@chynawright5566 Of course, Dean messed up. But that was after Rory messed up by stringing Dean along when actually having feelings for Jess. That was a major flaw and it didn't give Dean closure so he never got over Rory. So they both messed up. Dean was actually a pretty great boyfriend up until Jess comes along. PS: no I am not blaming Jess; just a matter of fact that he was actually great beforehand.
Quality Edits yes! I see that too. Actually, there are many instances where she mentions or refers to Dean in the series. You can tell that Bledel struggled with how her character developed in this series. People like to criticize her acting talent, but I think she showed some real depth and range in the early seasons of the show - and she has certainly proven herself on The Handmaid's Tale - but Sherman-Palladino really didn't give her much to work with after season 4. It must be difficult to play a character who does a complete 180 midway through the series and becomes unlikable and barely recognizable from their earlier self.
As much as this is definitely top 5 funniest Gilmore girls scenes for me, I wished her rant wasn't just about her boyfriends. She really went through a lot with Mitchum, her mom, her grandparents, but they boiled down her breakdown to Logan saying he loves her and leaving?? That's a very underwhelming reason to breakdown in her case I feel like. Very funny though. Plus the therapist had a great reaction too

When the Yale psychiatrist asked Rory if she and her mom had a falling out; and she said; nothing major; only mother-daughter stuff. It’s really not funny that Rory is so cliche she let a guy with a smile and horrible parents completely derail her life. Hats off to the therapist who got it out of her as oppose to anyone else in her life.
