I've always wondered if there are other universes or if the universe is infinite. Either way, we're incredibly small. Even if, you shouldn't think about it too much. Just try to do what you can to help the lives around you.
+David For once it's not something compared to a football field, just a football. I suppose the space between galaxies is way bigger than a galaxy. Like 100,000 lt yrs is short compared to 5 million light years (to the closest galaxy). And the virgo cluster would have a fair few galaxies, I suppose. Aren't we a part of it? (I can't remember.) Really small sizes are equally as spectacular as BIG sizes. There are billions (if not trillions) of cells in us and our cells would be way, way bigger than atoms (by a large measure) and their nuclei (and so-on) are so much smaller again (like if an atom is the size of a house, the nucleus is like 1/8" diam). When you break it all down to the smallest particles, we discover that they have no size and only the space between particles give us size. That said, weight doesn't seem to directly come from within massive objects but from the higgs field all around them and it gives us mass (since we seem to be made of stuff with no size). More of a field than a particle, the Higgs Boson is dubbed the God particle cos it gives everything mass. It seems that we are made of "nothing" and the only thing that gives us weight is the space all around us (and through us). It seems that somehow the higgs field could have something to do with warping space-time around a mass. I don't know, though (just had some weed). .
Scary how small we are man. I sit here thinking about how much we still dont know and possibly never will. It's sad but I dont know refreshing? Not sure that's the word I'm looking for. I'm glad we still have more to learn it makes life exciting every day. I'm sure I wont be alive for anything too wild like new life, but I can imagine how life will inevitably change so much!
I would argue that in a probabilistic multiverse that our universe would be an inevitability rather than an accident. This is because every outcome is represented by a universe, so our universe would have to be created for all possible outcomes to occur.
Except one huge flaw with this theory, if an infinite number of possibilities have been already been played out in the infinite history of the universe, that would mean unicorns, flying tea pots and spaghetti monsters have already been in existence since all infinite possibilities have already been played out in the infinite past. So its is ironically athiests that actually believe in unicorns, flying tea pots and spaghetti monsters not thiests. The multiverse theory is a ludicrous baseless theory athiests must believe in as an answer to the fact our universe is extremely fine tuned indicating the existence of a designer and creator.
Only in your religion, dumb ass. Before making smart statements which you don't know truly, at least rule out the truth of your monotheist abrahamic religions didn't evolve from the previous polytheist pagan religion of Sumeria. It's like when you don't know simple math problems like how to add 2+2, but you talk about an university level math, and even teach it to others. All the evidences of various fields of scientific studies like archeology, history, biology, geology, and even mythology proof that Abrahamic religions evolved from the Sumerian polytheist religions plus Zoroastrianism and Egyptian monotheist religion. Even though this field are unrelated, they come to the same conclusion that your religions are the product of the evolution of previous polytheist religion and regional mythology. So before talking about higher science which you don't know or study, study your shitty kindergartener's level illogical religion and try to answer an even simple question of science whether it coherent with science, which it's probably not, based on your illogical religions, you dumbasses
Until proof for infinite vacuums of energy and multiverses are shown, It does not exist, Its highly speculative and is not empirical science, valid or rational. Its a Guess at best!
If our universe is infinitely expanding, but its just one of an infinite amount of universes which are also infinitely expanding while there is also an infinite amount of universes which don't infinitely expand, then what does infinity really mean?
Actually let’s keep it simple.if every thing is a circle then every thing got a start a middle and an end . So basically all these are just pop ups in the universe universes etc it just keeps going.🤞
Wilson Mayo well a universe can’t stop expanding unless it’s contracting. And if it’s contracting then the universe would be unbalanced until it hits a singularity in which it is unknown what would happen. If a universe is contracting the thermo-dynamic arrow of time is surely facing the wrong way. People in this universe would live backwards. They would see coffee mugs reassemble and fly up onto the table rather than see it fall and smash. They would also theoretically age in reverse the would be dead before they live then they would wake up an old man and live there life backwards until eventually a doctor shoves them back into there mother’s womb and they cease to exist. Everything else would also happen this way so stars would go from brown dwarfs to fully fledged red giants. Black holes would lose mass and turn back into white dwarfs or neutron stars and the Big Bang would happen in reverse. You see this is impossible because the universe had to start from somewhere and if it starts where it ends then how can it even start at all? It’s not just going to pop into existence as a fully fledged universe and then go backwards for billions of years until it disappears. That is why your question doesn’t make sense. I’m sorry if this is really long, I just wanted to fully explain. If you want to read more about this then I recommend Stephen Hawking’s book “a brief history of time.” And if you want to find out what infinity really is then I recommend the VSAUCE video on it: th-cam.com/video/SrU9YDoXE88/w-d-xo.html
I've always thought the Multiverse is real, of course i have no way of proving that, at least for now, if it is, theres probably a universe where all my dreams actually happened once, another one where im a girl, and another one where pokemon is real, would be pretty cool tbh, but appart from that, lets just say the multiverse is real, which it might be but we cant say that yet. What if theres something BEYOND the multiverse, like other x-verses containing multiple multiverses, then other X-verses containing multiple x-verses, thats something that really catches my intrest, is it like an endless loop of x-verses having infinite x-verses inside of them? Or there is an end where there is a final frontier where theres just an infinite void. Perhaps theres we live in a gigantic box that contains absolutely everything, all the verses and stuff, and if you reach the border of it, it pushes you back, therefore being unable to get out of it. Now thats something thats possible, im not saying its real, im not saying it isnt, but just think about it. The whole existence might even be so much bigger than we imagine.
Space and time are what humans perceived. It doesnt mean its the only reality there is. Astronomers once thought earth is the center of the universe. I bet nobody wont fully understand the universe because of brain limitations
5tonyvvvv I am. But when an eminent physicist puts forewords a theory with an explanation I am prepared to at least listen. As opposed to the second and third hand accounts of illiterate shepherds and peasants who knew nothing about the world or science and whose alleged recollection took place 2000 years ago.
I believe fiction is just us trying to connect to a different universe and trying to replicate what happened in that universe so there could be a universe where transformers are real and different universes where some people look like the rock or John cena
@@whatdadogdoin634 I am no physicist, but quantam physics generally states that each and every atoms are connected in the universe,so everything is kind of predetermined. So the authors may subconsciously copy from the universes information into their own, when they write their own works. @@dragoncat5767 actually the show supernatural has touched upon this topic beautifully. The arch angels send the protagonists to an alternative universe which is basically our universe where they are actors, and the show is basically a set and their real names are thrown in the show. Don't know. It would be cool. If it is true, we might have died and forgot our past lives and restart our new one, not remembering a single thing, like 1st time living.
*In alternate realities:* I have an older or younger brother. I received a letter from Hogwarts that i was accepted. I'm a wizard. I played Quidditch and i became a champion. Everyone loves me. Man, those versions of me live a perfect life. And i DO think about it. I don't care what ANYONE thinks of it.
It depends on perspective, the people living there won't think they are living perfect life nor did any of those characters thought So if they might be reading our story then they will think we have perfect life
If this theory is correct than there has to be one universe where a civilization got so advanced they could travel through the multiverses and they found us, turns out we’re that civilization and came back to see our past selves, so is it a matter of time till they get here, have they already been here and we just don’t know Infinite possibilities keep in my mind what I just said has happened if this theory is correct
sophie not necessarily maybe time travel isn’t possible just not :/ but at the same of the day almost anyone can come up with a theory about the universe/reality there aren’t no limits all these calculations, math, physics are human constructs so we can understand but what if all of it is just gibberish whose to say all these so called advances in humanity in the long run won’t amount to anything and we’ll just be a speck if not less in time
If every possibility is played out, could there be someone, something, that goes beyond its own universe? Someone or something that, can become unbound, by the laws of there reality? Could this universe harbor such a force? I think I have a nose bleed.
I like to think there's a universe in the multiverse out there where all my weird thoughts, fictions and fantasies play out in some way. The sad thing is, I'd never know or get to see it for myself.
Honestly, any being that could have the ability to live in all these universes and share the memories would be a curse because if it felt emotion, that means it could understand everyone and also see everyone at their best with that being, and at their worst. Meaning if the concise of that being had emotion, it would be a roller-coaster because at the same time of that being expressing happiness from a friend, it would also be anger, or sadness of a enemy or dead friend all of the same person. The same person could be a friend or foe at the same time in parallel universes, meaning for the sake of that beings well being, it would be best to not interact with anyone. In short, maybe it's a good thing we're separated from ourselves in parallel universes...
If this theory were to be true that would mean that everything we do has no relevance and has already been played out in these infinite other multi verses everything we do has and will be played out all ready
until man can understand the concept of infinity he can never really know anything! A frog standing on the shore of a huge ocean can only suppose the ocean is infinite. What is truly infinite is his inability to deal with a finite existence!
I love and hate the multiverse theory. I love it because that means that on a cosmic level, we are insignificant and the universe doesn't care what we do, and I find a little bit of reassurance in that. But if the multiverse theory is true, there's a universe where it isn't, and although it may not cover paradoxical situations, there's a universe where it does.
Luis The Duck well no, I mean if the multiverse is true, then the multiverse would operate in some sort of rules that we just don’t understand yet. There is no universe where the multiverse doesn’t exist, because it doesn’t exist in any of them. It’s something that can only occur outside a universe. If that makes sense.
When I grow up, I want to become an author and write some books about the Multiverse, Time Travel, and Clones... Mom and Dad say my dream is unrealistic, which means you probably won't see my books published; they also say my obsession with the Multiverse is unhealthy since they consider it a rewriting of history... The Books I dream of publishing are: The Adventures of Kiara Swirlz of Northern Kloudville, The Heroine of Gizmopolis, Malibu University, Jezebel Hope and the Kingdom of Disneraan, and Milaf... (You'll also see many more books for years to come, because my dream has a 50% chance of coming true...)... I'm going to college soon and people are going to challenge my Multiverse Obsession... Everyone thinks I'm annoying since the only thing I talk about is The Multiverse... Here's my list of possibilities for the Multiverse... There's also a Multi Multiverse, an Omniverse, a Multi Omniverse, an Omni Omniverse, a Diplverse, a MultiDiplverse, an Omnidiplverse, a Dipldiplverse, and so on... In case you're wondering, I think the Diplverse is bigger than the Omniverse; the Diplverse just hasn't been discovered by a scientist yet, but will be one day... Do you suggest that I should become a scientist and study the Multiverse, and not just write books about it? :O In case you're wondering there's Universes where: People lay eggs, People wear bricks for clothes, People wear no clothes, All Fictional Characters are Real, Dinosaurs never went extinct (Which someone has mentioned down below), People are made out of roast beef but shaped like humans (Do you think the roast beef people wear clothes or no?), and there are Universes inside atoms and pixels... Bye... :)
I don’t know if anyone would believe me but I’ve thought about this theory for ages and kept thinking of it just to find out a scientist already made a theory about it but i swear i was 14 and made this theory without knowing about it
Im only 13 rn tho. I feel like the things happening around me arent even real because e=mc2 is start of everything but how did ENERGY appear or the space where it appeared this gives me a headache
I’m the next avatar after you Pogg. I came from universe 223. The Earth Kingdom, mostly known for being ruthless, have destroyed all nations and wanted to become powerful. I, the next firebender avatar, will have to stop this war.
I couldn't imagine if there's another universe, and everything in that universe full of weird technology like in the cyberpunk city..that would be insane.
If you really think about it, when you dream ,you always dream about yourself and in your dream you have people there that you recognize, but in that dream u are experiencing things that happen like your dream come true, cars ,money ,your crush likes you back .when you dream you explore different universes but it’s still you but many different outcomes.so basically while u dream your in parallel universes
What if we visit these other multi-verses in our dreams? I have had different dreams about the same place, plane of existence, universe, etc.. one that is not mine. When I am there, it is home. All I know. When I wake, it fades quickly. Returning triggers memories of the other times I've dreamt of this place. I find the theory intriguing to say the least.
It brings the bare the possibility we're here because somehow we chose this universe, or perhaps because somehow we deserve it. And also that at any moment, not just our own lives, but the fate of the entire universe can hinge on our decisions. It may or may not be true; but as a concept, it's not only fascinating. The mere comprehension of it's possibility can be enlightening.
Here's an idea to take this theory further: Every idea of a fake memory that comes into your head is a reality, just in a different universe. In other words, what you just thought of yesterday that didn't happen, happened in the multiverse
3yrs late but .. this is true because there is an infinite amount of existence for everything. i can say something random about something in the world and it will come true in some universe
I think he wants only one universe so he can understand it more thoroughly he believes and to feel somewhat bigger in the cosmos. I think the idea of a multiverse is very cool because it leads for much more possibilities and you’ll always exist in one. That idea is refreshing to me. You can still understand the general concept of a universe through exploring the one you’re in as I’m sure the others aren’t too drastically different and follow the same foundation. I wonder if we can control the universes that exist. To erase them or give birth to them on our own.
You need to understand that all events are connected in a chain of event, so considering our parents never existed or died or married someone else, then we might never been existed, it's just like alternate timeline
1st dimension is just a line, 2nd dimension is what makes up flat objects, 3rd dimension are objects with volume (3D objects), 4th dimension is time; time runs as a straight line, and 5th dimension is every object or possibilities running through different timelines.
Infinite at all also there's more than multiverse infinitly, imagine theres a Univers that dont exist but exist, error laws of physics, and infinites of creators
Jasper Pickering, if you turn up that piano music in the background a little more, you could manage to drown out his voice altogether. Thank you, Dr. Clark, for your time, energy, and effort you put into educating us.
Who's sad that they will not be alive when humanity finds a way of travelling to other solar systems, stars, galaxies and other universes. I wish I lived in a time where interstellar travel was possible. Anyway, sometimes I think when we die and our body breaks apart. We travel at places which we physically can't. Maybe this physical is stopping us.
Hey guys, I have a silly interesting question: If you travelled to parallel universe where you met genderbent version of yourself and slept with it, would the offspring be a clone?!
Our universe is a micro universe that exists inside of a macro universe. This macro universe is so large it is beyond our comprehension. Our universe is relative to the size of an atom to that macro universe.
What if our dreams were tiny/faded memory from infinite number of realities, think about it. Yes, the dream you had last night was probably from a small tiny memory from another alternate universe.
Millions of years after The Greek Gods sent me on an expedition to explore the entire cosmos, I almost certainly witnessed the multi-verse! 😄 It appeared to be the starry orbs that humans usually depict them as. There was empty space full of blackholes around them. I hope that helps. 🙂 -The Greek Goddess of Astronomy, Urania (Incarnated).
I just had a thought. What if our universe is the center of all the other universes? With every idea we come up with what if that idea creates a new universe? Example: jurassic park is just a movie but what if the events in the film actually happen in another universe but it is not a movie
I mean it's obvious, with infinite possibilities in multiverse If multiverse theory is true then so is this Theory Maybe whatever we think is actually the events that happen in another universe

Thank you Multiverse. For bringing the 3 Spider-Men in one movie. ❤
Yea
🇵🇭😄🇵🇭
We are so small :)
+snap
If Pluto's distance of nearly 4 billion miles was scaled down to just a half a mm, our galaxy would be 100km diam (In the same tiny scale).
Justwantahover if our galaxy was scaled down to the size of a football. The Virgo supercluster would be 8.4X larger than our solar system.
+David
For once it's not something compared to a football field, just a football.
I suppose the space between galaxies is way bigger than a galaxy. Like 100,000 lt yrs is short compared to 5 million light years (to the closest galaxy). And the virgo cluster would have a fair few galaxies, I suppose. Aren't we a part of it? (I can't remember.)
Really small sizes are equally as spectacular as BIG sizes.
@@VictimofHindsight Going smaller is the same scary scenario.
So Atheists can invoke infinite unproven multiverses.. Yet a creator is impossible... Hilarious!!
Everything is created by something, they don't pop into existence from nothing, that is what is impossible.
FEEDMEFRIES Productions Oh dear god... that's what😉
Dude, that’s actually a smart observation
If you want to read more about this then I recommend Stephen Hawking’s book “a brief history of time.”
And if you want to find out what infinity really is then I recommend the VSAUCE video on it: th-cam.com/video/SrU9YDoXE88/w-d-xo.html
It means the multiverse doesn’t exist

Imagine universes where fictional charcters we know and love actually exist elsewhere, in worlds trillions of light years away from us.
I hope that
As well as any character that could be.
I believe fiction is just us trying to connect to a different universe and trying to replicate what happened in that universe so there could be a universe where transformers are real and different universes where some people look like the rock or John cena
@@whatdadogdoin634
I am no physicist,but
quantam physics generally states that each and every atoms are connected in the universe,so everything is kind of predetermined.
So the authors may subconsciously copy from the universes information into their own, when they write their own works.
And in the same time, our real world history could be fictional to a universe different than our own
@@dragoncat5767 actually the show supernatural has touched upon this topic beautifully. So if I died I would start this life over in a different timeline with slightly different events?
Don't know. It would be cool. If it is true, we might have died and forgot our past lives and restart our new one, not remembering a single thing, like 1st time living.
Like undertale lol after u died u can restart and start a new process

If this theory is correct than there has to be one universe where a civilization got so advanced they could travel through the multiverses and they found us, turns out we’re that civilization and came back to see our past selves, so is it a matter of time till they get here, have they already been here and we just don’t know Infinite possibilities keep in my mind what I just said has happened if this theory is correct
Yeezzy_ 1 aliens are just advanced human beings time travelling?
Chelsea possible infinite possibilities in a multiverse just a theory
sophie not necessarily maybe time travel isn’t possible just not :/ but at the same of the day almost anyone can come up with a theory about the universe/reality there aren’t no limits all these calculations, math, physics are human constructs so we can understand but what if all of it is just gibberish whose to say all these so called advances in humanity in the long run won’t amount to anything and we’ll just be a speck if not less in time

If every possibility is played out, could there be someone, something, that goes beyond its own universe? Someone or something that, can become unbound, by the laws of there reality? Could this universe harbor such a force? I think I have a nose bleed.

If this theory were to be true that would mean that everything we do has no relevance and has already been played out in these infinite other multi verses everything we do has and will be played out all ready
theories are made up by people who are not humble enough to say we don't really know!!!
That's a really good way of looking at ot
until man can understand the concept of infinity he can never really know anything! A frog standing on the shore of a huge ocean can only suppose the ocean is infinite. What is truly infinite is his inability to deal with a finite existence!
It also means in one of them God exists because all possibilities exist.
Checkmate atheists.
But in our Universe, all of those other things haven't happened. Not saying I believe it, just pointing out that fact.

Every idea of a fake memory that comes into your head is a reality, just in a different universe. In other words, what you just thought of yesterday that didn't happen, happened in the multiverse
3yrs late but .. this is true because there is an infinite amount of existence for everything. i can say something random about something in the world and it will come true in some universe
Maybe all the thoughts which come to our head are actually events that happen to another universe and then it comes to our head
