That "selfie" with Eido and her father is just beautiful and adorable. This is almost like a yearbook in a way, all your friends wishing you a good summer and hope to see you next year. This is just perfect.
Honestly i think that book is one of the best collectors edition items, very wholesome and brings up lots of characters that haven't had much written in lore or been a long time since we've heard of them. Really hypes up the final shape being our final battle of the light and dark saga!

If that "Weaver" is who I think, or to be honest, hazily suspect, Eido does not know (as Mithrax intends, because HE DOES KNOW) who he truly was!! A once powerful and infamous Eliksni indeed.

@@friendlyneighborhoodclown7754 yes, Namraaks was an enemy in D1 and a former house of wolf member, he escaped and drifted around for a while, joining house devils for a small while then left and eventually joined House of Light. he became very loyal to Mithrax/Misraax because he brought the Eliksni 1 thing they fought for with sheer desperation, a place under the traveler

I don't know about anyone else but when the picture of Zavala, Ikora and Cade popped up, I had a sudden twinge of emotion seeing Cade in the picture. Personally, he has always been my favorite character. Half the reason I have continued to play the game was so I could hear what he had to say. It was always something comical with his conversations. I am looking forward to seeing what Cade is like in the next expansion.
Me too. I am still not over his death. 2018 was a very difficult year for me and Forsaken carried me through it

I have been playing since 2014, 8k hours in and seeing this made me emotional. Amazing stuff.
The flowers look like Edelweiss (Alpine Rose) which bloom anywhere the wind carries the seeds.
Peach was also seen again in season of thew Witch where she was talking to Glint, Targe, and Ophiuchus, in the Brya's Love Lore. something tells me that she may play an important role soon as this was how Glint started as Pulled Pork.
Also Niik is still there, though she has 5-6 different spots (that I found) between Amanda's spot and Cayde's old spot

I think the flowers might be from the eliksni quarter gardens i think i remember seeing similar plants in plunder
I am pretty sure they are Edelweiss their seeds bloom anywhere. They are found in the mountains in southern Germany (Bavaria) and Austria.
Dunno if it helps, but on the "Hidden Agents" Page (12:42) there is a Stencil stating "NaCl 35.453", so the number below is the exact atom weight of Chlorine (Cl), with Sodium (Na) being 22.98976928. Also the stencil right of it states O2 with a fiery symbol..so I guess this means "fire" or something...
A lot of those symbols on the page are all over the Witch Queen loot.
Gotta stop the witness for the Eliksni CHILDREN. (That part tugged at my heart)

I'm in another country for studies and seeing this somehow made me tear up... It made me realise how devoid of joy my life is... I don't expect anything to change neither do i know how long i can go like this before i break but for what it's worth I'm happy i had some good moments in destiny

Honestly when it showed the City’s and Eliksni kids’ signatures and drawings that got me the most, I know the devs had some of their kids help out which I think is so cute

Buoys = "boys". Meaning: A float moored in water to mark a location, warn of danger, or indicate a navigational channel. A life buoy ("boy"); transitive verb = To keep afloat or aloft. "A glider buoyed by air currents." That sort of thing. Also applicable to one's mood :)
I miss SRL so much... it's like being reminded of a dead loved one. You can't bring them back, but you can remember them fondly.
Man, no matter how difficult the community sentiment is right now, it cannot take away all the happy memories from the past 10 years that this franchise gave us!

In the final pages I would have written my female Awoken's perspective about her past with my character is "What if Dark Samus became a Guardian" and being a Hunter herself like Crow she touched the crystal in Season of the Lost herself and a Hunter being a Hunter she regrets it later, but instead of telling anyone she started drinking herself to death 7 times in Spiders bar before talking to Samus after she broke down and is haunted by the people she killed. After Samus helps Phaza (name of my Guardian in my canon) with stuff like AA with Shaxx being the loudest then killing the Witness and any loose ends are done, she's very tired, and with her story in a book she has hidden away that only the most the most determined individuals will find, she leaves the Destiny universe to live her life anywhere else.
As I said earlier it's my characters lore and allegory that I am also very tired, but I want to see this saga to the end, but still be subbed to channels like this to keep up with the lore. I am just more or less done with Bungie for the most part and will still drop in for occasional dungeon and raids. Just not anything past the light or dark saga so it doesn't pull me back in like the mob.
I think the hiddens drawing page may be what we’ve done in the past because I recognized the black heart, oryx that’s it though

As a dad, the Eliksni children signing their names got me in my feelings.
Theory here, but what if the ghost are factions of the precursors that chose to not take part in the ritual that created the witness. That would be wild.

What if we fracture the witness into its individual aspects during the final battle (allowing the precursor pyramids to remain) and creates a new faction.

Eido has better penmanship and cursive writing skills than the majority of Earth's population. Why are they still teaching cursive after the collapse?!?
I imagine the City has a bunch of cultural enclaves since people came from all over, plus it's somewhat implied there are shortages and things need to be scavenged from outside by Guardians, it might make sense to use low-tech records for stuff that doesn't need to be preserved, or _does_ need to be preserved during outages.

We have seen Lucient Hive in the promotional trailers we got for the new supers and the dedicated video for the Pale Heart destination so they're def going to be in. To what extent I don't know

@@daddylonglegs89 no more than Bungie already is. I'm far from the only one complaining about this exact issue. Bungie is so greedy, self-obsessed and out of touch with their players, I'd be surprised if Marathon doesn't flop from it.

And it's not ALL of bungie who is at fault, it's recently came to light that plenty of Devs pushed for the fixes and changes the community asked for and the CEOs said no. If Anything you should be mad at bungie CEOs not the Devs they just do Thier job and try to make it as good as they can with what they are given

Most of the plot could be her just researching the hell out of a very specific topic like the nine maybe only because she's avoiding some responsibility
It's so sad that destiny has to recur to nostalgia books instead of actually making it playable a enjoyable. I loved the book...but it's no were near where the awful story decision and vision of the current CEO ( in his own words Fast + Nostalgia = Recurring payments )
