NGL, this idea is brilliant.
Great idea
but if it's not enough, slighly improved handling can be added to do the trick
Imo this is a bad idea and ae bonus should be thee only effect and I’m the devils ruin guy bonus reload would be huge for me so you can’t say I am biased against this if anything I’m biased for it
I don't think this is a good idea as well I would rather have it effect sprint speed as well as jump abilities
Honestly a very good idea imo but I probably still wouldn’t use it on other classes. The only thing that would compel me to use it is bonus sprint speed tbh
The worst part about mobility right now is that Titans and Warlocks can actually get quicker straight line speeds by dropping their mobility. 💀
(Quick Edit) 44 likes in 4 days!? That has gotta be a record.
It’s been like this since forever bro. It was even worse in D1. I would like to see them maybe increase your ability to change direction mid air faster with high mobility along with the reload boost on the hunter and give back to the titans the extra 10% damage reduction we all originally had at max resil when they first changed it. And for warlocks I would like to see a slight reduction in the time it takes for health to start regenerating after not taking damage for a period of time. And I feel like this would fit the power fantasy of each character class pretty well.
In general it sucks that the mobility class is usually the last to reach key areas
I thought the same literally 2 days ago while playing with a titan
I've noticed this too, and it frustrates me a little.
Like, how are bulky titans and nerdy Warlocks somehow getting to the next area before I do? Even with Eager Edge and grapple!
as a warlock i like mobility in pvp
While reading the title, I thought you were gonna approach the armor issue from a cosmetic stand point lmao, but this is also very true! We need faster reload speed and SYMMETRICAL GAUNTLETS!!!
Honestly we could lean even more into agi being snappier with weapons, reload, handling, even stability could all be given a bonus with agility
There is little buildcrafting options to make guns feel better, being able to use more range with less stability on your rolls bc you’ve spec’d into mobility seems like a cool option to me
Scalar to class ability animation was another idea i had, faster rift/barricade casts would be really nice
A boost to the absolutely abysmal aerial lateral movement this game has would be great too
Allow mobility to be tied to how fast you get out of debuffs and verbs i.e slow, freeze, suspension, suppression, severance
The stat itself may not be as effective in PvE but mobility directly affects the hunter dodge cooldown. And the hunter dodge is undoubtedly the most overpowered and versatile ability in the game.
It could influence class based buffs duration like radiant, restore, invis, etc...
I always took it with the approach that the main point of the physical stats was to, at most, mitigate damage. One lessens damage, one heals damage, and the last one avoids damage.
With aim assist being an actual stat you can build into in this game, perhaps mobility could provide a defense against aim assist? Or at least in pve, it shrinks the size of your hitbox or makes enemies suddenly miss like 40 percent of their shots
Side note, if they make this change to mobility, im gonna feed my titan all the mobility i can and make Little Mac
Either give class abilities their own stat or get rid of the impact res, mob and rec have on them.
Preferably, I'd remove these three stats all together and go back to them being fixed.
Having recovery and speed vary, especially, has never felt good.
Increase sprint speed and weapon haste. Sprint speed would only be by 2-20% and would only go down to 1-10% IF it gives too much, as well as the haste.
I got stuck in an area of grasp of avarice as a warlock and couldn't make it up to save my life. I wasn't a out to end the whole thing, but I was able to get my mobility much higher, enabling me to jump high enough to escape.
I’ve never understood why mobility doesn’t directly effect your movement speed. It just seems logical that for instance 100 mobility might make you move 50% faster.
My PvE game improved dramatically when I focused armor with high mobility.
I was taught to focus high resilience, discipline, and strength but now I focus mobility, resilience, and either strength or discipline.
Mobility improves dodge as well which effects reload or melee.
Don’t let influencers dictate your armor build.
Experiment with every combo of high armor stats until you find what works with what situation.
Different endgame content requires different builds.
I think it would be better if the dodge did an AOE burst reload buff and the higher the stat the longer the buff
Hunter is the only class that needs all 3 things in the top half of the stat tree to be competitive. The other 2 can pretty much be fine with just high resil and recovery. At least make it so that the Hunter actually moves faster than the other classes if we have to be above T6 mobility.
I remember a time where res was seen as the doodoo stat and mobility was more preferred especially in pvp
I think this is good. UNLESS you are doing kings fall jumping puzzle you have to have mobility to shatter skate across
The only think is the fact that after playing hunter with 100 mobility for a while, running 20-30 on warlock feels so bad
The design of character scaling is the problem. Titans are the easiest to play at an average level because they scale off the single most useful stat in resilience which makes them almost brain dead to build l, warlocks want resilience and 60-70 in some pairing of intellect strength discipline depending on build, whereas hunters want max mobility recovery and discipline at at minimum 60 intellect in pve.
Idea: whatever mobility already affects, just double the effects. Sure, it ain't gonna be a hunter-specific solution, but... what other class cares about mobility anyways?
Agreed even for other classes when we get some mobility we would be like that's OK still useful
I think honestly it is fine. I main Hunter, and while yes the dodge comes back faster with higher mobility, unless you are using a dodge focused build, it already comes back in about half a minute or less. There are so many better builds that can be used that don't need dodge, so it is fine.
Titan "Hide behind my wall"
Warlock "My well can heal yoy"
Hunter "Im helping" *rolls on floor aggressively*
Maybe it’s not as much as I think it is but with celestial nighthawk they can do pretty good damage. Then again maybe titans and warlocks and possibly other hunter subclasses can already do more.
I mean the rolling gives them abilities which is funny considering that warlocks are supposed to be the ones with the most abilities
I mean, we Hunters can do a little knife stab on the ground to give y'all radiant, or smoke bomb that gives y'all resist and over shields
Really over simplifying what dodge roll does and assuming it is all team orientated. Titans wall is fairly useless a lot of the time due to having to move around a lot, rally being guttered and it hardly helping against most forms of damage. Well is more or less purely selfish and is a complete waste on a teammate, so you get an easy heal? Which is no better than a wall but is also shadowed by healing abilities or affixes on abilities ect. Damage rift is obsolete and worthless. Hunters however can dodge attacks, reload heavy weapons instantly, turn invisible, get back their charged melee for more damage/infinite combos, can instantly heal themselves, shatter dive, and now aoe clear with it. It's the most useful out of all class abilities with the most usecases for general play, feels better to use and has more combo potential. If anything you think it's like titans dodge but way better, like why do we even have that thing? It's worthless and why do I still equip it every time?
@@scotttimbrell8632 I know your comment means well, but you might wanna summarize your point -
The true Hunter armor problem is the lack of symmetrical gauntlets in transmog
I wouldn't say that asymetry is bad, but just that both sides are not equally weighted, if that makes sense.
Apparently it's lore accurate cuz Hunters would just throw shit together, not caring if it's symmetrical or not. Idk if it's true tho, just heard from a reddit post or TH-cam video.
Or all those training bra's they've made us wear for years lmfao
i absolutely despise that
Omg. Yes!
As a hunter main it is a struggle to make sure I get as high stats as I can. But out of all my build possibilities, I have two, to three 100 stats on every build... And mobility is always at 100. A sacrifice I am willing to make. Still rock higher stats than most, so I am okay with it.
Same. Mobility is worth... On hunters.
It just severely cuts down melee CDs, Cuz it gives them for free- And if you run GPG, Well, Melees And thus dodges can give you grenades, Too.
A reload speed bonus does sound pretty good.
But they already get reload bonuses with mobility. Sure not directly, but clearly TDT is not thinking ahead at all. He's just too busy crying about how he can't take advantage of his movement speed, jumps, and dodges.
Especially the fucking jumps. Oh boy I wonder why STOMPEE5 keeps getting nerfed.
We don't need to worry about strength or reload speed at all as long as you keep using your mobility based ability.
@@dangerwarg9682He plays warlock bub, he understands that other class abilities are way better than hunters. Short wall on titan and most builds on lock give reload speed, plus who the hell is running reload dodge?
@@dangerwarg9682So what we jump slightly higher with Stomps, who cares? Just look up.
@@potatothatisspicyI only run it in pvp for quick reloads in stand offs
@@potatothatisspicyrun reload dodge for strand aspect or stasis mask of bakris
Craziest part is how Hunter’s have less movement abilities than Titans and Warlocks which makes no damn sense. Exactly why I think only Hunters should’ve gotten grapple like they originally planned.
There is literally no reason for bakris to be limited to stasis
arc hunters should have blink as a dodge for far more control like it was for blade dancer super
Pretty sure roam staff doesn't have the speed boost it once had alongside striker titans
This is one of the first seasons where hunter fulfills my fantasy of playing hunter

@@Handlesaretrash Us Titan mains, getting shafted with 9% use rate:
@@mobiusone6994 Congratulations, you finally know what it’s like to be underpowered after 10 years, congratulations.
They definitely need to do something with it. Resilience was already a good stat then they added dmg resist AND flinch resist to it. They need a reason for you to care about all 3 top stats so its an ACTUAL trade off when you make your builds. Reload speed is a pretty good one, I was thinking maybe handling? maybe both if they’re smaller buffs?
Both wouldn't compare to resilience and recovery. I think the best way to buff is it to renam it to dexterity and making it so whenever you get a buff it transfers to your teammates with the range depending on how high your dexterity is. It would make lightweight knife a lot more useful and make warlocks and titans have to consider speccing into it since they'd be able to share stuff like rift healing or void overshield from further away. Plus it would make hunter dodges benefit your team too so you can instant reload everyone's guns or melee which would be sick.
@@AxisChurchDevoteethis sounds sick actually
@@gort42069 But literally doesn't do anything for solo players lol
Res was not a good stat outside of niche crucible applications every 3 stages for different gates to ttk, because it didn't have an effect on supers at the time either. 10 more health in pve was more or less a non-factor
Huh? Titans never cared to build much into resil until the damage resistance happened. Before then recovery was king for all content.
Add...
- Crouch walk faster
- Sprint faster
- Slide further
- Jump ability stronger (if not already, maybe...)
- small reloading/handling buff
@@jonathanmoore121 how about No
That’s not a bad idea. Focusing armor on hunter to get good stats is a nightmare cause you need resil and recov so I always end up using mobility as a dump stat
You do not need recovery on a hunter in pve
@@quubey_ehhh I beg to differ, but only partially. Half the time there are so many constantly spawning ads that you can’t recover anyways. But this is also on the class with the least survivability tools mid fight (invis does not count as you have to sacrifice time, pressure, and damage) so it is more or less necessary. I never go higher than 6 though thats usually enough for me.
Also all of that said if forbearance is even at all possible on your loadout everything I just said is null and void. Either way, mobility is still a dump stat for the class that should use it the most.
@@atsukana1704 u can beg to differ all you want the only class that really needs recovery in pve is warlock no other class does all of my hunter builds don’t focus recove at all and work fantastic
@@quubey_ you might not need it in pve but it is still a way better stat to spec into compared to mobility
@@justvibin5584 I mean yes overall, but to their point, if both stats are gonna do next to nothing in pve, might as well spec into the one that decreases a cooldown.
As a warlock, what I mobility gave you a chance for hitscan damage to miss (only for hunters maybe). Like tier 10 gave you a 5-7% chance of damage missing you in pve so it’s also a passive survival stat like resilience and recovery
I thought this video was going to be about how hunters cant seem to get more than a handful of arms that are actually symetrical.
For real.
Hunters have the best class item though
@@Cloud-bs2kn yeah my cape might look fancy but who cares when my right arm looks like it could get hit by a bus and not notice, and my left arm looks like a noodle. it's the fact that it would take less work to just copy one arm on the other side and most arms would look better for it.
Special shoutout to Shards of Galanor which is symmetric but for some reason just makes your arms too small for any (most) chest pieces
unless you buy the DeathWish ornament
Same, really.
Make all 3 class abilities INT and adjust base cool-downs on all supers
Considering that there are a lot of exotics/Builds that get the super back much quicker
So in other words
DIS - Grenade
STR - melee
INT - Class
Makes more sense that way 😊
Or, radical concept here, they could make it actually increase your mobility. Let it affect sprint speed and in-air jump height. Let it be useful for what it’s actually supposed to do. Reload speed is nice, but also very easy to build into or negate entirely, depending on the build and weapon. Bungie should make Mobility actually be the mobility stat, so that it would be worth speccing into for builds on any class that want to be fast or jump high. I don’t understand why it didn’t always work like that. And yes, the maximum speed they’re willing to increase their run animation to is 12.5%, but they can still work within that. I’ve seen some people recommend letting Mobility buff sprint speed by up to 10%, which would work fine, and would still let Amplified have value on top of high Mobility. There are a lot of things Bungie could be doing with Mobility, they just aren’t.
True mobility would go so crazy on Warlocks. Astrocyte with more speed, Solarlocks with improved Icarus. I'd love that.
@@WarDragonOfTheLight Yeah, I’ve always wanted that for builds like that. Before I understood how worthless Mobility actually is, I used to spec into it on builds like that, cuz just based on the description, it sounds like it should provide that for those builds. That’s one of the biggest reasons I hate the way it works right now so much, and why I don’t just want it to give a minor bump to a weapon stat. It should ACTUALLY give mobility, like the name implies.
It already does affect jump height, as well as strafe speed
Sprint speed increasing would be a nice buff for it, as well as maybe making your slide be faster or have a faster recovery depending on mobility
@@bofa722 It only affects the height of your initial jump off the ground. It does absolutely nothing for your in-air jumps/glide/lift.
This. The reload stat, if it were ever to be a thing, simply makes more sense with “dexterity”. Just make mobility a actual mobility stat.
I once thought mobility could maybe speed up animations. Like deploying shields, rifts, and dodge speed. As well as how fast you do weapon animations for alternate fires.
absolutely not. Hunters were already built for PvP and you want to further it? Movement is crucial in 1v1s and game modes like trials where gun skill takes precedence. Yet you suggest buffing the top further? absolutely not.
I'm of the opinion that Mobility should improve all aspects of movement. It SHOULD make you sprint faster and slide further, and it SHOULD improve your jump ability (regardless of class). Additionally, generic movement exotics should be reworked to heavily play around a single form of movement and give you new abilities for it.
Using St0mpEE5 as an example, it should function similarly to the H3AD-5T v2 item from Risk of Rain 2: Increasing your jump height, making you immune to fall damage, and allowing you to fall to the ground quickly to damage enemies you land on/near.
I could live with Stompies providing a kinetic damage quickfall that does like 70 damage in a small radius.
@@Zevox144taking that a step further, could mimic Hittori Hanzo’s move from samurai shodown. Blink above a target into a quick fall, weakening the target ideally with some tick damage, as a trade off for the closing the gap.
Nope, if you do this recovery should give more hp.
@@wickedbird6921 Sounds like a win in my book. Don't know why your immediate reaction was "No" towards making a worthless stat do something, rather than saying "while they're at it, they should also do..." but eh?
@@Zevox144could even use up your dodge ability like they wanted stompies to do. Give hunters a little cool ground pound and give us a reason to spec into mobility.
Honestly, add veeeery slight scalers to all the various “mobility” related things you do in the game. A 1-10% sprint speed increase, a 0.5-5% increase in ADS speed, weapon handling, reload speed, strafe speed, slide distance…
Mobility doesn’t do enough for what the stat says it is. Make it interact with EVERYTHING we do that’s movement related.
If pvp didn’t exist this would probably happen. But we know the moment a buff like that comes out it will be riots in the streets. After all, history only shows how stompees went and how much crying people had over a simple movement exotic.
@@atsukana1704 Especially when the answer was basically just stop handicapping yourself by playing on 3 sens
honestly, movement can be a massive skill gap in pvp.
maybe if they renamed mobility to dexterity and added small increases to weapon handling/reload as the side benefit that would be nice.
it would make the stat a more desirable option for all 3 classes and help with general feel.
you might have to rework or buff exotics like ophidian aspect or dragon's shadow, rip titans for not having a similar exotic :'(
best part is, dexterity would totally still apply to hunter dodging fantasy
There’s a reason they took run speed away from mobility
And name it Dexterity instead of mobility.
I need the outfit for that titan, that looked clean.
That's the first time I've ever seen an Icefall Mantle outfit that doesn't make me want to throw up
I love the siegebreak armor probably my favorite full armor set in the game
Titans have the cleanest drip when done properly…and by clean, I mean you could put us next to a natural rock formation, and we’d disappear.
The warlock too, surprisingly as a hunter main the hunter wasn't even that good compared to the others
I think they should also make it improve your handling so you pull out weapons faster
Ah yes, because D1 bladedancer was super balanced with perma quickdraw as a subclass feature
@@Spike2276
Yeah. But ANY class can have it now.
@@ZackagonXM I'm just saying that i don't think quickdraw for free for everyone is a good idea.
@@Spike2276
Didn’t say it would be better. It would be a nightmare.
For me mobility should give you a chance of being immune ( like a dodge mechanic) this would help in GMs and other hard content where you could have died from a sniper shot or a blast.
no no, they dont need to bump up the reload stat, they need to increase the reload MULTIPLIER beyond the normal multiplier. making it so that 100 reload + 100 mobility will be able to reload a rocket launcher in .9 seconds (lowest now is 1.85 with luna well etc)
That would actually be nice if they really wanna go reload speed.
Mobility should decrease collision and fall damage; and boost in air "speed correction"
So if you get booped into a wall, or fall from high up, you take less damage.
It should also give you some resistance to being moved by enemy abilities and thus reducing the likelihood of getting a Smash Bros death.
I was thinking maybe have the Mobility Stat tie into a Combatant's "Target Acquisition" of a player while moving. The higher the stat, the harder it would be for the enemy (especially sniper/crossbow ones) to hit you when you move around the battlefield. This would mainly be just a PvE perk, but a thought nonetheless.
Pepperidge farm remembers when hunter dodge actually dodged projectiles
That's what i've been saying. Mobility already makes it easier to dodge projectiles at shorter ranges, make it so enemy have less accuracy on you so you can actually react and strafe away from enemy fire more consistently even in higher difficulties.
Ngl this is a great change
Unpopular opinion: HUNTERS DO NOT NEED ANY MORE BUFFS BUFF THE GOD DAM TITANS INSTEAD AND STOP COMPLAINING THAT HUNTERS ARE SLIGHTLY INCONVENIENCED!
A neat idea mobility could use to buff it is make it so it effects ability animation, making abilities faster or slower to use. This would effect how long it takes for your grenades, melee, rifts and barriers to be cast as well as how long it takes for the initial casting of your super. This would also effect how fast Hunter’s are moving while dodging or using a dive ability.
Another buff you could give mobility is make it grant additional damage resist against combatants during your class ability animation.
Ok lowkey if you give it this along with the reload and maybe a handling buff, this would be super good. Imagine actually building mobility on arc hunter and using your punch lightning fast like a D&D monk lol. Or using it on strand would also be really cool because the movement there is already amazing as is.
@@atsukana1704THIS just rolling around like sonic liars handshake cross countering everything to death
It would have to be extremely minor, like 5-10% @ 100 mobility. Some of the most common dps setups are "damage perk" + "reload/free ammo perk".
Tbh, it makes sense tho
Titans are tanks, warlocks are support/AoE spammers, hunters SHOULD be DPS
I'd like to see mobility as a general "gameplay snappiness" stat. Apply mild, very mild, scalers (not stat bumps) to reload and handling, maybe 0.5-1% per tier, so that even if you max a stat out on a gun you're still benefitting from it. Possibly a bump to recoil direction as well. Also, give it a sprint speed modifier that, at t10, acts the same as a lightweight frame or movement class/exotic perk, letting you replace one of them with investment in the mobility stat, while keeping the same hard cap so it doesnt introduce too much power creep, mainly flexibility.
amplified would need changed as it currently gives +5mob & 6.25 sprint speed (under speed booster)
That's an amazing idea but Bungie won't buff hunters because we are the most popular class
In my opinion Hunter is the hardest class to play to just survive. Ironicaly, I main this class, so I know suffer
@@TheOneWhoBugsfor me its titan ironically enough, purely because of how they are encouraged to go in melee which is such a death sentence at higher difficulties. Even solar still has to go in melee range to pick up that hammer. And its not like titans are any more durable than other classes in a neutral state to make up for that need to go in melee to get most of their buffs (looking at you strand)...
lol literally the most beneficial stat in pvp and the most widely used class because of mobility and you suggest buffing them? LOL hell NO! Hunters are already op with their dodge an mobility.
Dodge is on the shortest cooldown because of this. Also, those of us soft brains who only exist on the X-axis, being able to jump higher means you stay out of my peripherals.
Bro wants to buff hunters💀 they’re already the best in the game when it comes to dps
Or just make recovery the class ability stat for every class. Easy fix
Or get this...have it do what you'd think it does and buff sprint speed with this.
This didn’t age well with hunters being the hands down best class rn
You can easily get max or more than favorable reload stats with minimal effort as is, so people still aren't going to waste the time, resources or effort grinding for it.
To be useful in endgame pve and tie into the hunter identity, I would say have the mobility stat be tied to i-frames. Yes, I said it. Slightly more i-frames when doing class abilities, dodging, sliding etc. if your mobility stat is maxed, with the current amount of i-frames being the base.
Imo it should increase AE. Its all about being mobile so the other classes may want to build into it if they dont care abt speed
agreed
I've never understood the decision to go away from Dexterity as a keyword in Destiny, in general.
anyone know what that titan helmet is in the thumbnail please
they should just have it to where each class has its own preset boost in a certain armor stat.
hunters - mobility
warlocks - intellect
titans - strength
boom problem solved
can someone tell me where the first titan armor is from
In other words, kids: don't waste stat increases on mobility when weapons with a higher reload can work too. I keep my mobility in at least the 40s, allowing resilience and recovery to take priority. Depending on my builds purpose, secondary points are applied to discipline or strength, and i make sure my weapons have pugilist, demolitionist, or swashbuckler to increase ability cooldowns to accommodate my mobility.
Remember when 10 Resil was 40% dmg resist? It'll just be another thing they'll nerf so what's the use. Plus, this game is dying, let it die.
I got to 102 mobility 7 minutes ago
I don't mind it, I like moving fast
I'd be more for faster jump speed, quicker sliding, or a Hunter Dash where tapping sprint twice let's you move like you're Arc Charged for a bit.
I spec into res and rec on my hunter and still manage (somehow) to have 81 mob - They should just make it the same for all classes, or specialise all classes, so like Titans have to spec into Strength etc..
i don’t care what anyone says, high mobility in PVE is what hunters were made for. low resilience/recovery? no problem! just jump away somewhere safe and reset. we’re not meant to be tanks, we’re meant to be accurate, agile, and amazing at everything we do. why? because we’re hunters.
I talked about this with some friends and I agree but our idea we came up with is that the higher the mobility the less likely you are to be hit which we said max stat should be 35%. The reason we came to this instead of reload speed or smt else is because both recovery and resilience give survival benefit aka faster regen or bigger health pool. Which looking at what the both resilience and recovery synergizes with makes sense those being the rift(which heals) and the barricade(which defends) hunters dodge which is evasion so if hunters got that stat which allows you to evade bullets at a max of 35% evasion would make it worth while and in PvP all it does is lower how strong aim assistance is by a max of 15%(which in all honesty seems pretty fair.
Just use void hunter with graviton forfeit and there you go. 100 mob. 100 res, 100 recov
what's that titan armor? looks sic
I just want to move faster like a substantial difference up to 2.4x faster at 100 to 1.7x faster at 50. Or, increase handling and reload.
Resilience gives you better flinch reduction and more health so why not 🤷🏾♂️
whats that titan helmet if anyone knows?
Why not just increase sprint speed? Doesn’t have to be crazy, just enough to keep up with basic warlock and titan skating
I agree, mobility should maybe improve Reload Speed and Handling for everyone. So, Warlocks and Titans have a variety of different builds also. Hunter needs it, but it will be optional for Warlock and Titan. Sounds fair, right? Right…?
This would just be stupid to have mobility increase reload speed. IT'S CALLED MOBILITY BRUH. And those are CHARACTER STATS not WEAPON STATS.
Hunters DO NOT NEED ANYTHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they already have the best supers, ability cycles, and exotics. For the love of Christ give the warlocks something
I always thought it would be cool if mobility made it harder for enemies to target you, like you’re too fast for them kinda thing. It would make it more of a meaningful stat to staying alive like Titans and Warlocks have.
Youre right to an extent. Yeah hunters dont get the benefit that titans and warlocks do to spec into res and recov. But the higher your mobility the harder it is for enemies to track you when they fire at you. For example the beam from an ogre has a harder time tracking you when you have T7 and up Mobility.(obviously higher difficulty enemies have better target tracking). I used to run T10 mobility and Recov before they reworked Resilience for this reason. T7 mobility is really all you need tbh for PvE
Look at all those chickens......
I mean hunters..
Ofc hunters crying for a buff ......😂 Like they don't have enough advantage already lololol
Are you nuts? How about you remove mobility and ability on hunters? Problem solved.
So your idea here is make reloading fast free on hunters. Hunters already have free mobility, ability spam AND you want lightening reload?
Just say you’re a hunter fanboy jeez what a joke lol
I still would dump mobility on all three classes. It needs a MASSIVE bump in utility or power to even consider adding mobility by sacrificing resil, disc, and str.
I agree with mobility needing a bit of a buff but I rarely find myself dying in pvp or pve because I needed to reload. Running DMT or quicksilver for both and I rarely switch to my second weapon unless it helps me heal or something.
Maybe a dodge distance increase
(cue me falling off the map a bunch until I get used to it)
Or even something like a short invincibility window during a dodge? Something to make it more than just a knife/gun reload ability.
Ngl, I’ve been a Hunter main since I started the game in D1, and my mobility has always been low unless I’m in PvP, you don’t need the quicker dodge nowadays because you can use mods to get it back faster
I have always played a 100 mobility warlock to prove that meta is stupid. I have solo’d all the dungeons except warlords ruin. So I’d say it’s ok
Hunters need to be balanced. They do almost everything better than the other classes.
Hunter is better at melee than the melee class while having more defense and survivability. They also have the biggest damage potential making Warlocks and Titans essentially useless (especially Titans).
Or, hear me out
Mobility affects *every* jump, and also walking, crouching, strafing, and running speed, like ANY MOBILITY STAT SHOULD
then it'd be balanced with more important stats, like resilience and recovery
No. Pvp is 70% hunters. We don't need to buff hunters so they can get even faster reload speed. A faster reload speed doesn't help hunters in PVE it will only ruin PVE.
If I have 100 mobility as a Hunter and a Titan and/or Warlock have 0, they will still move faster than a Hunter can because of their jumps/skating. It's not cool lol the only way I can keep up or get ahead is with a sword and/or grapple. I do love the increased reload speed idea though.
Just get rid of mobility and give base mobility per class. Titan obviously being the slowest, warlock mid and hunter the faster ones. The majority dodge mobility stats on armor like it’s the plague… just get rid of 😂
This is actually a super solid fix but I guarantee you that if they did it the amount of titan an warlock mains that would complain even if the reload time decrease was .5 miliseconds destiny 2 PvP is actually dumb we can’t have anything nice
What is the background music? I think I’ve heard it before but can’t remember where
100MOB, 100RES, 100DISC for any content that isnt GM/Day1/Master Raid as warlock 😏
how about mobility... LETS YOU SPRINT FASTER like mobility->speed->movment->sprinting is movment ya know?
its just a sprint speed buff like maxed out its at max 20% faster sprint speed or something
so then the 3 main stats are speed strength health kinda
Honestly I’m fine with it. I agree is basically useless but it does three things that elevate the game for me: faster base move speed for general farming/dungeons, easier jumping puzzles (arguably 50% of the game), and most importantly- at around ~70 or 80 mobility is when you start successfully dodging sustained fire.
I’m a doom fan and so I like to move. I’ve noticed that enemies in this game have weirdly accurate tracking to the point where it’s almost pointless to run from enemy bullets. 70 is good for ground running but specifically 80 is where they can’t hit you while air sprinting. I’ll take that over recovery any day. ❤
Y’all would complain if only hunters were loading bows faster than everyone else be fr
How I would redo the stats:
Mobility
- Movement Speed (Stride,Strafe,Run, etc.)
- Action Speed (Handling, grenade throw time, ready/stow weapon, etc.)
Resilience
- Health
- Shield
Recovery
- Shield recharge
- hostile effect duration
Intellect
- Area of Effect
- Effect Duration
Discipline
- Accuracy
- Stability
Strength
- Ability Damage and Healing done
- melee damage
Ability recharge time would be tied to weapon weight like it is in mass effect: lower damage, lighter weight weapon OR using one less weapon slot = greater ability recharge.
Each Race and Class should get the Trait Buffs. Hunter/Awoken +10 Mobility / +10 Intellect. You get the picture. Titan/Human +20 Resilience. But Titan/Awoken +10 Resilience/+10 Intellect, and so on. That would actually make more sense. And if a Female Character, then she wont be able to ride a sparrow, because she cant drive.
Mobility don’t mean shit when you’re running combination blow and gambler’s dodge. Literally punch dodge punch dodge punch dodge punch dodge punch dodge et cetera
Hunters literally can become more punch-happy than the most roid raged Striker Titan.
BS. Hunters are the most OP class. They have all the weapons buffs and their jumps are even OP. What kills more Guardians...Weapons. Can't get more OP then that. Their resilience should be no where near a Tank Titan.
