@@JacobEcret you're just wrong and don't know what you're talking about. An open diff spins both wheels all the time. That's why you track straight. It's only when traction is greater on one side does the diff allow for slip. If you have an open diff and do a burn out with two worn out tires, you'll put down 11's. If you take that same car and put it on a ramp so one wheel is in the air, the car won't move. But that's basically the only time it's "one wheel drive"

The “Auto” mode is always 2 wheel drive unless wheel slippage happens then it engages 4wheel drive

Does 4L lock the rear differential. Looks like it from the indicator and would be very useful when stuck in mud and only 1 rear wheel has traction.

Yes it’s a cheap truck, they do this to keep costs low for people who don’t care about having leather on their dash or soft touch materials everywhere when it’s only a work truck.

For this specific ZR2 model they spent all the money in the amazing driveline and suspension. If they had also out premium matierials in the interior it would cost as much as a Ford Raptor.

When entering the drivers seat, taller people's knee have bumped and rotated the dial, without their knowing it.
Can the dial be locked so it is not turned in error?

What's the point of the neutral?
If you needed to be towed. The neutral option disconnects the transmission from the driveshafts, thus allowing the vehicle to be towed with all 4 wheels on the ground.

Sometimes I hit my knee on the knob while getting in. It rotates the switch without me even knowing. It’s a horrible design for placement
