I'm a 5'4 woman and I went from a 2007 Deluxe to a 2024 Street Glide without test riding and it was a CRAZY difference. My first ride on a Street Glide ever was amazeballs. My hubby said get online and see what you want and I don't regret it at all.
I purchased the 2024 Street Glide without test driving it and I still don’t regret it . Coming from a 2011 street glide Harley did a great job on this one. Loving every mile on this bike!
I came from a Honda Rebel 1100 DCT to the '24 Street Glide. I test rode all of Harley Davidson's bikes except for the Pan American. I took an 1800 mile trip to The Ozarks on the Rebel last summer and it was great as it had a Memphis Shade batwing fairing installed, but the overall ride beat me up a bit. I thought that the turn in that the street glide exhibited was comparable to the Honda. The Rebel 1100 is renown for its handling and I didn't want to give that up. I felt immediately on my test ride that the Street Glide had the comfortable ride, wind protection and handling for which I was looking. It only feels a little heavier than the 550 lb HONDA at all but the slowest of parking maneuvers. I love it!!
@@beachdoktor1 that is good to hear. The 24 Street Glide ride smooth. When you take a few long trips on the street glide you will be amazed how it keeps you from getting tired.
I feel you brother. I just test-drove one the other day and everything you said I will just echo 100 fold. On a personal note I think the new look of the Street Glide is gorgeous. Every video you seem to see out there is on the Road Glide but I can't get past that fairing. This Street Glide however, will definitely be the next bike for me because of that gorgeous fairing among other things.
Agree 100%. I have had my ‘24 Street Glide about a month and is best motorcycle I have ever ridden. Regarding the seat I did not like and changed out to a tall boy is perfect for me.
I purchased the 2024 with out test driving it it was 32 degrees outside when I purchased it and I was over 100 miles away from home I trade my v rod on it I love the street glide it handles way better then the v rod or any other bike I have had
Bought the 24 Streetglide July 1st. Took it on 3 trips so far plus some around town puttering around. Absolutely love the Bike. Rides great! Plently of power. My only conplaint is the ticking noise. Im told all these 117 sound like that? Like a sewing machine. Its pretty loud ticking too so its noticeable even at higher speeds on the highway with the music on full blast. Also recently a squeaking sound from the fairing just started. Thought it was the windshield but that is as tight as can be. Anyone else getting a ticking noise on their 117?
I went for the test ride.😊 The seat felt good and sit position aswell. Shifting went smooth. Infotainment very nice with the ride modes, radio and navigation. Riding and steering was comfortabel. I know i am spoiled with acceleration at the sport glide with stage 3 128" but it felt good. I love the Whiskey fire colour especially in the sun. Yes love the streetglide.
Alot of why they feel different compared to the older generation is bc the roadglide is coming with taller bars than the streetglide from the factory where as before they were essentially the same height and reach
I have test ridden both the 2024 RG and SG. The difference between my 2021 SG is not significant at all. I have no idea what he’s talking about. The changes are primarily cosmetic. The suspension is slightly better and the bike has slightly more power.
I just got myn2024 Street Glide and love it. It is amazing. I don't know how HD made his bike so good
It truly is an amazing ride. Thanks for watching.
SG for life after trying the new 2024! decided to get it day of trying it.
its a great ride for sure.

That is awesome to hear. I dont understand why so many are intimated by these bikes.
@@billiebrown6263 that’s awesome feedback. Do you think because you’re a shorter rider that the street glide is better for you vs. the road glide?
@@alexanderyin8106 I don’t know, I didn’t test ride either of them. I know for the SG I did get the Harley reach seat.

I feel like you could do that easy with this bike and be satisfied.

I am with youu, this is the best version of the SG fairing to date in my opinion.
I agree, both these bikes knock it out of the park. One thing that I really liked about the Street Glide was the tray under the dash.
that tray is a huge plus.

Was it not comfortable or was it not positioned correctly for you?

The 2024 SG is an amazing bike that rides great. Wait until you lay down a lot of miles. Thanks for watching.
I've bought a StreetGlide 2024 here in Emgland from Warrs of London , vivid black with the chrome trim.... yeah hahhhh
Thats awsome, I am sure you are going to love it. Thanks for watching from across the pond.

I never noticed that noise , I will need to listen for that. I hope everything else has been great
I value your views on both the Street Glide and the Road Glide! good test ride reviews!!
Thank you, brother!
I dig that flag in the background. Safe travels
Thanks and you too.
Thanks for sharing your impressions. I'm looking forward to getting to take a 2024 Street Glide out for a test ride. ✌️👊👍
You are going to love it. I am sending the warm weather your way.

I like the position on the ne RG bars vs the old stock bars. Its crazy how different both bikes feel.
There should be no debate about which is better. Just get both.
AGREED!! I will be taking donations. lol
Cool 👊👊
Thanks for watching
Has anyone else had a tough time getting used to the throttle? Touchy and jumpy, especially on bumpy roads?
The clutch vs the hydraulic is a big difference for sure. Some of the 2014 clutches do seem to have a smaller friction zone.
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks for watching.
They have always felt like two different bikes to me, not sure why you’re just getting it.
The rushmore felt like the same bike to me. The wind off the faring was a little different.
