From what I gather from other videos, the only thing you're going to have to dislike about your new bike is quite simplely there's nothing to dislike. Enjoy it immensely.
The paint is very sparkly, not quite as sparkly as your eyes but sparkly indeed (respectfully of course, I don't want Mr Haimerl giving me a beat down 😝). You guys make a great team and deserve everything an more, Congratulations!!
Congratulations to you! Only tough thing is the time of year. It’s going to be winter soon enough in Kelowna, BC. Fingers crossed you get in some beautiful fall riding. Enjoy!
I traded in my 2019 Heritage Deluxe in late July for a 2024 Street Glide in Whiskey fire. Already put 3700 miles on it. Trying to get a little more riding out of it before the snow falls. Enjoy the new bike, you will love it!
You’re going to love it! I bought my 2024 Road Glide end of February, took delivery March 1st…I have over 15,000 miles on it already. Best Harley I’ve owned out 6!
Congratulations I have 2700 miles on my SG 2024 and love every moment. Traded my 2008 Heritage Classic as well. Yiou will not regret the move.........a great upgrade.
Congrats on the new bike! Beauty! Been to Kelowna Harley before couple years ago...they must have new staff...hung out there for a bit...not one person said hi or asked if we needed anything!🤔 ...again congrats on the new ride! Stay safe out there!!😎🤙👍🤙👍🇨🇦
I traded in my 2018 Street Glide special for a 2022 Heritage Classic and don't regret it. It's so much easier to maneuver out of the garage and in parking lots.
@@CorinnaHaimerl Yeah. After turning 70 the weight of a motorcycle means a lot more to me now. My sportster is 535, my XT250 is about 300 lbs., and my ZX4RR is 412 lbs.
Congratulations on getting this beautiful new bike, such an awesome bike. There’s nothing like getting on a brand new bike and taking it home. I can hardly wait to see the both of you on your first long distance trip together on these great bikes.
@@CorinnaHaimerl I know the feeling. You guys remind me of me when I was 32. In 1995 I began my motorcycle adventures at 32. I bought a used 82 Goldwing then a month later a new 95 Goldwing and became totally addicted to riding. I then went on to buy two Honda Valkyries, two Honda 1800 VTXs, a 800VFR, a Honda Blackbird, a BMW, a Triumph Tiger, a 2001 and 2007 Goldwing, a 2008 Kawasaki Concours, a 2007 Honda CBR1000RR,a 2011 Harley Ultra Classic, and a 2002 Fatboy. From 1995 to now I rode over 600,000 miles, most long distance. I got to see all of the provinces of Canada and Alaska and most US states. I learned how I only needed a fraction of stuff I first started off with. I got down to where I could literally travel with a tank bag and small rear soft bag on my CBR. I hope you guys get to go on long distance rides like I did. My favorite was Texas to Alaska in 2001. On that trip I also did most of the US states west of North Dakota. I did 16,500 miles in five weeks of riding. Yes that’s extreme but damn it was the best adventure of my life. Yes it was an average of almost 500 miles a day every day. Liard Hot Springs and other hot springs to the tundra of the Alaskan Hiway to the Rockies and my favorite all of British Columbia. The Whistler area was awesome. I could write books. All of this to say life is so short…get out there and ride and ride….soak it all up guys.
I highly recommend buying a second used bike to ride in the late fall -early winter and late winter early spring while your Harley is in storage. I have a 2023 Heritage classic that I will winterize in about a week and put away for winter. Then I have a 2015 Honda Shadow that I will ride in the late and early season, when there is a little salt on the road, but the weather is mild. Basically as soon as I’m done riding I wash and dry the bike add stabilizer and put it on a trickle charger until the weather is mild again when I can ride. This way you can extend your riding season In closing, I recently wrote an article comparing my 2023 Harley Davidson heritage classic to my 2015 Honda shadow if you’re interesting in reading just provide me with an e-mail address so I can send it to you. I got a lot of positive reviews on the article. Go Bills!!!
All my friends tried really hard all year to get me to part with my 08 road king, thought i was gonna upgrade right at beginning of year to a new king but didnt.. i liked the look of the r.glide better then the street, but because i am a bit smaller rider I fit better on a street... i mean if corrina got a new bike, maybe i should...😅..

Pretty snazzy and congratulations🍻..how's the seat? probably havnt been on a long ride yet but the seat doesn't look to thick for long rides? Calling for snow here in Alberta starting Monday and temperatures are supposed to drop 😬
