I’ve been a huge Nancy Wilson fan, since I was a teenager, and I’ve met Nancy and Ann several times. I was really lucky to get to hold and play her ‘63 Blue Telecaster, backstage in Dallas, Texas at a meet & greet, in 2016. I will never forget that. Such a dream come true! And, Nancy actually sang a few words to a song lyric, I gave to her at the meet & greet. Wow, it was like winning a Grammy, to me. Nancy Wilson rules! 🤘🏻
I stood right in front of Nancy Wilson while she was performing at the Red Barn in Great Falls Montana in 1974, was totally blown away. I wonder if she remembers me 🤣. Love Heart ❤🙏
I've had a crush on Mrs. Nancy Wilson since the late '70s when I saw Heart in Concert in Detroit. She's still just as special as she has always been. Great interview, thank you.
As a fairly decent female guitarist myself, Nancy Wilson is my "Guitar Hero" I learned so much from learning heart songs especially, "Crazy on You." Nancy is the Guitar Queen!
Some of us ‘girls’ never even conceived that we couldn’t do what the ‘boys’ do. Cheers to the parents who made us feel valuable and capable! And cheers to those women who showed the others what we are capable of. ❤️ 4-ever!
I've always been in love with Nancy Wilson(HEART). I played guitar on two albums with the other Jazz singer with the same name. She was great & such a cool lady. I tell people that I recorded with Nancy Wilson & they say wow, really? I say the Jazz one & they respond with a disappointed ohh. The one from "Heart" is a fantastic talent & plays guitar with the best of them all! Men, of course, included! She a fabulous singer too. "These Dreams" kills me every time I hear it. Great tune for her!! Great tune Period!!!! Please marry me! KIDDING!😁
She still is sensual! Love to watch he play. I saw Heart live in the summer of 76 or 77 in Southern Illinois outside of Carbondale during a summer rain storm.
"there's a lot of creativity with women." True words that Nancy. I must confess that as a teenager in the 1970s I had the biggest crush on you. Love Heart. But I had a bit of tunnel vision when I saw you live. Thanks for the music. I'm another soul whose life changed after seeing the Beatles. I play guitar. I remember a young woman once said to me "there's nothing sexier than a man who plays guitar." I said "yes there is. A woman who plays guitar!" To the host: love the Bad Company t-shirt. Glad to see you are both OK and helping us all get through this difficult period. Appreciate what you both do.

Nancy, your new Epiphone Fanatic guitar is astounding - there are SO many good things about it .. it is so beautiful.. the input you've made in design - have translated it into something new - different - and from what I can SEE without even playing.. it is a guitar to move the bar to the next level. What is really cool about all - for us players.. is the price. Thank you for giving us something special to have - hold - and play!! Plus.. you simply ROCK - and I've been totally in love with you forever.. there.. i got it out of my system.. Blessings of Peace to you!
Had such a horrible crush on Nancy when I was 14. My favorite video at the time was “Tell It Like It Is.” Great player and one of my first actual challenges on the guitar was the intro to “Crazy On You.” Keep rock in’ Nancy.
Somehow I suspect Heart probably succeeded way farther than if Nancy had mastered the Tuba, LOL Such terrific music these women have brought us. Thank you ladies!
The following is going to sound crazy ( and is not an insult toward Valerie/Janie/Wolf in any way ), but I always thought that Nancy and Edward Van Halen would have made a great couple. Obviously there was a friendship between Heart and Alex/Edward Van Halen ( and even Sammy Hagar is a friend and songwriter for Heart ). But, I always loved Nancy's songwriting craftsmanship as well as her stunning acoustic playing. I think she would have been a really significant influence for Edward. Heart has always been a great band. Nancy is a soulful player who has that rare quality of grace and fortitude as a human being and a player. So, thanks for this video! I'm always happy to see Nancy/Ann doing something.
Still amazingly beautiful Nancy' even more so now.Have always had the hots for her. Saw heart many times last time in the early 80's. Learning to Drum to some of their music now at age 61 God bless u beautiful rocker.
I tried to be as good as nancy but she proved there is only room for one , so I settled for her being my hero , guitar is the best medicine for anything that life throws at you , I was 7 when I escaped to my guitar and 5 years later it's still my sanity and still love Nancy and Ann dog n butterfly and alone and tell it like it is

Grew up on the poor side of the tracks and joined the navy. After stationed aboard ship I bought a cassette - radio and worn out cassette after cassette while out to sea. But that will never be but I still at night before bed pull up some TH-cam videos of some of the old bands I listen to, and one is These Dearms.
Why are all of you people talking about her house and stuff like she can't live how she wants with her family. I met her a few times and she is really down to earth and real. Just because she's not living in a mansion she can't have a normal life and house with her family. Quit being nitpicky and enjoy the interview.
She's hands down the most talented female guitarist of our generation. Not to mention all the other things she does Musicly and man so beautiful. Will you marry me Nancy ? ❤
She’s never done “Nada One” live. Shame, because that’s my fave Nancy Wilson song and one of my all time fave Heart songs. “Lighter Touch” was at least once performed at Day Of The Green in ‘81. The audio is on YT.
@@manxuberglider8 I doesn't surprise me. It really doesn't. The "Butterfly" songs require a real careful handling..and the "new" Heart really didn't understand that material..at all. And I am sure, the fact that it was so associated with Rog and Mike, couldn't have helped. Further, The sensitivity in those songs isn't exactly the energy a live audience appreciates. Oh well..it was another move further away from what we knew them for.
