Okay, headcanon time: I *think* what happened is that Tessa used to rescue Drones from the junkyard, fixing them up. One of these was Syn, who did the whole "Zombie Drone" thing which "mutated" her code, giving her all these abilities (telekinesis, regeneration, able to take over other hardware, etc.) that we see. She went all serial killer on Tessa's family and the other important people at this party, but was later captured. Faced with the Drones on Copper 9 going "rogue," the Company took parts of this mutated code - primarily the "Absolute Solver" regeneration ability - and used it to turn ordinary Drones into Murder Drones to "clean up" this problem. Syn, however, escaped and is spreading...something facilitated by these cut-down sections of code being out there. She can also infect other Drones - such as Doll and Uzi - giving them part of her abilities, but gradually taking over more and more until they *are* her. Again, just headcanon...but I'm willing to argue it.
Damn this is interesting... but Uzi and Doll had the absolute solver gene passed down to them, so it was inevitable that they were gonna turn into zombies. But im still on the train that Doll is much more different than uzi in the sense that she doesn't glitch as much, and also doesn't transform with the wings... almost like Doll has more control over her virus? Maybe her moms virus was less severe than Nori's? Id love to hear your oppinions :)
@@Monicafuzzy772 I've honestly wondered if the Absolute Solver can manifest differently from drone to drone as, like you say, Doll, Uzi and Cyn seem to have some major differences that we haven't seen shared. Especially considering the JCJenson video refers to "dangerous mutations" occurring which, if anything like biological life, won't all mutate in the same way.
I feel like I'm an odd one out because I love the mysteries compounding one another and it just makes me that much more intrigued. If they explained things as they were introduced I wouldn't feel nearly as compelled by the mystery. 😅 Anyway can't wait to see your reaction to episode 6 and possibly the teaser for episodes 7 and 8 if you recorded that too.
