I have the tohatsu 4hp amd for the life of me I can’t get it on plane.seeing this has me wondering what I’m doing wrong? I’m about 200lbs and I hav an Alumacraft 1032.I have my trim at 3rd hole.
i just bought one also are they pretty stable with the 52” beam
What weight it your 4hp outboard? Any issues with transom flex or damage with the higher power?
No I have no issues with it, i have buyed the Motor brand new. For the weight i don't know

Could this handle a 6hp
looks like its better to go with 6hp rather tha 4 same weight more power
Especially when you throw a turbo on it

Ok, perfect so the 4hp Yamaha I found used is enough for the 10 foot plastic sundolphin piece of trash I'll inevitably put it on and I don't need 6 hp haha

Ik heb een platbodem. Die heeft minder weerstand in het water. vergeleken met een rubberboot
