Conservation groups say Alaskan fishermen are taking B.C.’s salmon stock

  • They are the backbone of the B.C. fishing industry, but according to conservation organizations, Alaskan fishermen take more salmon destined for B.C. rivers than B.C. fishing fleets. As Radio-Canada’s Camille Vernet reports, that’s putting pressure on both the salmon population as well as the fishermen who make their living catching them.
