Dont do it, there is an easier way: 1. Open the "update5" folder and copy the "pc" folder then paste to your Mafia II game directory. Replace when asked
2. Open the "Friends for Life" folder and copy the "edit" and "pc" folders then paste to your Mafia 2 game directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mafia II) Replace when asked

It was my Problem too,but then I saw that I forgot to activate the DLC Folder patch

@@juanhenao125 If you already downloaded the DLC folderpatch,then you have to go to your SSD/HDD.There you have to click on programs (86x),then on steam and there on steamapps.
Then choose Mafia II there and then Copy the PC Folder from the DLC folderpatch to Mafia to (you need to replace when it asks)

FAQ

That means you didn't install the "update5" folder (dlc folder patch).
