That is a fantastic button! Lots of coins and all sorts. Great hunt Great video my fellow Nomad. I always enjoy your hunts, leaving a big thumbs up 👍 Double Score, get in there BooM💥 all the best #onward
Great to see you use the Double Score in the field Adam. It seems to be very stable and simple to use. It would be a terrific companion detector for my Legend.
Great dig for you there Adam. The handle reminded me of possibly a tool handle or perhaps a sword guard??? Lovely find with the Isle of Man pound coin. I hope you smash it this year and have some smashing finds. 👍👍👍
Nice finds with the button and IOM pound coin. You answered my question if you had been over there with any other detectors. Double Score looks a great machine
@@KernowekTim yes, it's a redundant statement, but unfortunately that's the way it's most often referred to, so that's how I reference it to avoid confusion. Kind of like how everyone here in the US calls our one cent coins pennies. They never were pennies, but that's what people call them, lol.
I think its as capable as the legend, except for gold mode on the legend, the DS is geared for lower signals i think, but hits the high tones great as well...interesting machine,.love it
Hi Adam enjoy the videos and working my way back through you older ones as I’m new to detecting. You often say about ground balancing off camera I have no idea what this is could you do one on camera idea on the ultra as that’s what I have or point me to a video where you have. Thanks again and keep it up
Hi Andy! Thank you for the brilliant comment! I generally do it off camera to save time but you're right, it has been a while since I've shown it. I'll try to remember for the next time I'm out with the Ultra 👍
Thank you. Colloquially where I'm from we refer to the 1p coin as a 1 pence piece so whilst it may not be correct in the strictest sense, it is correct to the culture I was raised in 👍 Thanks for watching 😊
in your opinion, is it better than a Simplex+ ? If so, how much better? And how might it compare to a Legend? Thanks for your input, time and reply........ ;)
Hi! In short...yes. The Simplex+ was a powerhouse, but the new generation of Nokta machines somehow improve upon it. The new Simplex range (especially BT and Ultra) are a big step up and the Score, being SMF, takes the edge. The Legend is also SMF but also has a wide myriad of controls, settings and options. It's the flagship for a reason, but if you're not looking for something that requires a few minutes to set up, I'd certainly recommend the Double Score!
Ah, I see. A handheld pinpointer is always recommended. Once you've found a target and dug a hole, you can use the pinpointer to accurately and quickly locate the target more precisely than with the machine. Most detectorists consider it a vital part of the gear 👍
Looking like a great machine for the money 💰 great hunt again Adam 👏
Bangle, 1960s or 70s. Nice search, keep up the good work 😊

Liking the look of this detector very much , seems very stable . Perfect upgrade to the Simplex.
I just got the Score. I’ll be out digging with it on Monday hopefully. I’m liking what I’m seeing with this detector series!!
Nice hunt, Adam, the Double Score seems like a great machine!❤

Thanks for the video Adam, great little machine there. Definitely a bracelet, loads of coins 🪙, love the button!!😎🐓🐓🐓🐓🇬🇧

Nice one Adam well done 👏
Its a brilliant machine it really is and isnt hard to use what so ever, its doing great for me so far
Thank you
Nice video Adam!🤩
Those old buttons with the gold gilt clean up nicely with some lemon juice. Great hunt
There's no such thing as 'gold gilt'. Gilt, per se, is gold plated metal. There is not silver/platinium, zinc..."gilt"😉👍. Hope this helps.

The Double Score seems like a Legend minus a few setting that I would never use anyway
Might separate better than my legend

Nice hunt. Tynwald Hill is an Isle of Man landmark. Pence is plural so one penny piece.
Thank you.

Yes it's only since decimalisation that this occurs, previously people said a penny, tuppence and threpence.
No joke, run it on high recovery speed, goes just as deep, separates great, iron reject at 2,park ,8 power great machine
Your object at 13.13 looks like miniature German stick grenade

The handle maby a sword holder or something to a belt. ?
Do you lose depth on m3 Adam
I would expect to...slightly. But I haven't specifically tested it yet.
@@DTEKTSUSSEX I'm using legend anyway so hopefully not
broken stirrup I reckon
It's a BOAT, a Bit Off A Tractor.
😅
Button looks like it has 3 bridge arches. The pound coin says 'TYNWALD' which makes it Isle of Man, Tynwald is the Government.
I made it£3.93😂
You really don't need a pin pointer for that do you?
For what...exactly...?
@@DTEKTSUSSEX I mean it'd be enough to work just with the detector or no? Sorry I dont have much knowledge but idk if I should buy one if not needed.
Ah, I see.
