Hi, thanks. What about the rubber ring oil seal ? Do you just keep reusing the original one over and over???

I did for years. Oem seals last longer then the aftermarket one that comes with the filter. So I just want until I see a leak then replace. (Now this is my car) customer cars I always replace that seal.

nothing about draining the oil? I hear the drain plugs on these are torx fittings.

Rkz Performance don’t ever take a wire off the engine block that’s on right side and then put it back I did cus I wanted to add a ground wire my car is a dead pickle. Learn from
      Others mistakes.

I did it like you and it leaked oil slowly all over my car and smoked. You didn't show us where the gasket that comes where the filter goes on this. My gasket was the cause but had no idea where it went like a normal car oil change.

It has no gasket it has a o ring that goes on the filter cover, they last a long time I have not changed the o ring in mine in 15 years.

@@rkzperformance8973 Thanks. An o ring is also a gasket. No biggie though. But yeah for some reason mine must have cracked or came off or something because after a month of leaking my trusted auto shop said it was just the gasket that had caused the leaking. So luckily I didn't get jipped. I was hoping you'd show that part because I have no idea where it goes since I haven't checked since they fixed it. In a normal car its obvious. Thanks for explaining though. Makes me think if any oil shop ever replaced it until I changed it myself.
