We have a 2020 X6, and overall, I think this looks a lot better in the front, which was the weakest part of the pre-LCI. The rear end looked amazing, and they haven't changed it, so that's great. The interior is a massive improvement with iDrive 8. iDrive 7 is starting to look a little dated. I also have an i4, and that has iDrive 8, but with the same Service Pack (SP18) that the 2020 X6 has, so it doesn't have AR, and a few other features. It's nice to see that they gave the X6 a newer SP to benefit from some of those features. Overall, great job BMW. Our 2020 is just coming off lease, and we plan to purchase it. We love it; it's been a great car.
Hmm - X6 has improved design to the point I might actually pick it over the X5. Although I have to say, I'm not a fan of the new screen and the disappearing gearshift... Might do a previous gen for that reason.
Nice review. I have a pre lci X7 M50i and my wife has a X6 M50i. I just ordered her a X6 M60i in frozen black. It was between this or a Cayenne GTS Coupe but the BMW offers much more for the money. My biggest complaints are the elimination of some interior buttons and loss of shifter. Big mistake on the shift lever elimination. I wish they would offer it as an option.
I love the X6, but I think its ride height is too tall. Is it possible to lower it by 2 or 3 inches? Someone in my neighborhood has the X6 and I sometimes see her at the traffic light just before the freeway. She had it wrapped in a gorgeous Hello Kitty pink metallic vinyl wrap!
I love it... So it looks like the 40i now comes with quad exhausts as shown on the green vehicle? I am not a fan of the new cockpit design at all, with the climate controls integrated. Loving the boost in HP for the base model.
Team blue here. I like the new look. Looks a little more aggressive on the front end than my 2021 40i Not sure I'm a fan of the missing crystal shift knob and like the screen but would still like traditional heat controls as they are easier to operate when you are driving then a touch screen.
A big error , bmw x6 60i cant be equipped with air suspension ( only Suspensie M adaptiva Professional ) adaptiv M come stock+Diferential M Sport+Integral Active Steering , so air suspen only on 40i 30d
The "Porsche Mamba green" looks very refreshing. The improved side profile leaves behind the whale like appearance of the previous models. I don't think the snow plow front end is going to age well.
Team grey here :) Thomas, do you know when X5/X6 will be available for reviews (proper, driving ones)? I'm on the fence here. Although I'm a single guy I'm more drawn to the X5, I don't think BMW has done a good job with the X6 (right from the start, tbh). Just wish BMW was able to ramp up the production, waiting 10 months for the new X5 to be delivered is ..... excruciating.

I don't like the new gapping front. Why is there no rear wash wiper - madness not to include it. At last, avoids revolting leather, so credit for that. Dash has lost some style from the previous model.
I prefer the green color. The steering wheel is very nice. The body is just normal to me, but I liked how the gas cover has slight angles to give a 'forward' sporty look. Nice, but I will stay with Audi.
Nice review 👍 But you speak about air suspension. I ordered M60 Atlantis metalic and and it was not possible to order air suspension only adaptive professional. Maybe later. Do you have any information about it? Thanks
This new trend of turning every button into a touchscreen is tragic and its proven its dangerous. Audi at least have separate screen for climate control but still screens < manual controls. Hope they will ban it for safety reasons
What makes apple CarPlay more reliable??????? The eSIM cellular chip??We need more videos on that. Lots of other videos like all the other big player on TH-cam are test driving this vehicle and not activating or mentioning the eSIM. Then complaining on video that CarPlay is actually worse in this model. BMW should send out an update that only allows a wired connection UNTIL!!! You activate the ESIM chip on your cellular account. What these reviewers don’t understand is that ESIM is like having an Apple Watch cellular plan attached to your phone for 5-7$ a month. Very affordable. Excellent new tech. Nobody is talking about😂. It will hurt the brand if they don’t catch this, from what I’m already seeing on other videos. Everyone’s complaining and have no clue what eSIM is or that’s it’s even in the car.

I just bought a 2024 x6 and the climate display is terrible. I don't understand why they made it so difficult to control -accident waiting to happen.
Having got a new X5 I thought I would not like the new system. I find it fine if you can accept giving verbal instructions to the car.

Depends on your taste. Even X6 Coupe looks more coolest, aside RSQ8 is also more cooler. But both better than GLE Coupe facelift

I like everything about aple, except apple maps, sadly apple will not make Google maps work this way and enforces apple maps on their product owners.
BMW were the original coupe suv. It looked weird then and still looks weird now. Nearly every other manufacturer makes a better looking suv coupe
