Silke Martin Plot was tangled and tried to be over-clever (3 visits to the ball?), lyrics seemed mailed in, songs overly long, and over use of the same keys and melodies. Editing and pacing was in my own opinion of course terrible. Obvious and sloppy lip synching especially Streep. And finally the characters were prisoners of random character turns. IMHO it could have ended just before the castle fell.
