@@martyyczech switching to higher dpi literally does nothing if you just divide the sensi by the number you multiplied your dpi by. For ex 0.4 x 400 dpi = 0.2 x 800 dpi, increasing dpi is actually good as it helps you get a smoother aim
I have played all my life on 400 and 1 in game cause it felt like it was 1 to 1 for mouse movment to cursor (no clue why but it just felt comfortable). And I smash my mouse into the wall to my right 3 times a day while trying to 180
I am a "k" mic users and I would like to explain myself. Back in 2015 I played my first ever PC game after being a console player for all 14 years of my life, that game being CSGO I used the default settings so had to use "k" for the mic and I just got use to moving my thumb over so now I even use "K" on other games for my mic bc I just got so use to it that it actually just feels more comfortable to me.
That's crazy! I've been using 0.75 @ 800 for years now With a light mouse it's pretty confortable actually, I love it But using almost half of that seems wild to me, incredible
I use the same sens and have for a long time. I played Apex Legends with it. 600 eDPI is actually not bad as you get about 90° with ~1/2 of your mousepad.
400 DPI 0.88 for over 3 years, spent the last month getting adjusted to my new sens, which is 1.5, I almost cried the first time I realized I can do a 180° turn with one arm movement
Mic is on K bc the keyboard is tilted, which doesnt strain the wrist that much (still does kinda) lots of pros have them tilted due to being used to having low space on the desk
I jump with spacebar, alt is my mic key, mouse wheel down for flash, mouse wheel up for smoke, bomb is side mouse button with inspect weapon. much love
I play with 800/1.2 and decided once to try lower sens because we were talking about it on public servers. Tried something like 0.8 as someone suggested and it honestly fucked my muscle memory for days. first it felt so damn slow but after getting used to it my 1.2 felt fucking fast. Can't even imagine playing with such low sens as in video.
sometimes when im not feeling it i go down to 0.4 800 dpi to 1 tap motherfuckers ofc only in ct side so i only hold angles, and if i have to retake i just click my dpi botton to 1600dpi
probably the reason why pro's don't bind their mic key might be because they usually dont use the in game mic at all. They probably only play FPL or scrims in which case they obviously would use TS or Discord to communicate (Don't know which is most popular in pro teams)
@@neokCS Yeah... just ergonomically its feels bad. And also is just slow. I personally like V as my push to talk. But cant say anything. Used to have 4 binds that made me jump. Scroll up and down, T and space... now I don't use T anymore at least
I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this but I play WASE for movement, nades on 1-5, primary is H, secondary is B, and knife is N. Mic and use are mouse 5 and 4
I play at 400 DPI 0.9-1.1 in game sens depending on the game, and I'm at LE/Faceit level 7, I also played Rust before at 400 DPI 0.25 in game and beamed AK at 50-150 meters
for 5 years I played on so low sensitivity because of pro players that plays on low sens, so my dumbhead thought that lowsens = skill, and i played on something like 0.3 sens and 800 dpi... Now i cannot play on highsens because of it. Now I'm playing on 1600 dpi and 0.45 sens, still low, but at least it takes my 1 full mousepad to do something like 180 not 3-4 swipes.
I bet Mihu have some sort of accelaration. Just watched a highlight from his stream and it doesnt seem like he makes moves that wide and fast. (just assumption though) It would be actually very smart. for micromanagement you'd have lowest usable sens while able to do flicks (very smal or slower than others but still impressive).
As someone who doesn't even use the spacebar because it's absolutely shit and why would anyone not use the mouse wheel to jump, I can confirm. The mic button should always be.......mouse 4 or 5
I don’t get how 1.4 and 400 dpi can be considered a low sense (docc made a video with such a title) as I am personally playing 0,85 & 400dpi. And all numbers above including “1” are too fast for me to play. I just somewhere lost the understanding of what a low sense is, because back in the days pro’s used to play with much lower sense than now.
I personally play around 1.5 and 400 dpi, and a lot of my friends has 1.X with over 1000 dpi, so in modern days 1.4 and 400 dpi can be considered low sense as you mention in pro scene players are using higher sense than before as well. technically, faster dpi has higher potential due to the pure physical superioty, as less length your mouse has to move = faster aim. However it means errors are much more significant as any small input error has bigger impact on your crosshair placement as well. I would say an overall faster sense in the pro scene means the level of play has increased compare to before, at least interms of pure aim.
i have been playing 0.38 @ 800 for MANY years. i CANNOT play high sens at all. its just practise. i can clear sites so easily. its a lot of mouse movement, but its really quite simple.
So I play TF2 but I am pretty sure they translate, basically the same in game if I am not wrong, I play 1200 @ 2.6 in game. People call my sens unplayable, I also jump with crouch, play in a weird resolution and crouch with G.
Uh no. Edpi is not an universal metric to measure mouse sensitivity. It's different from game to game, unless the game engines are the same or are based off the same engine. EDPI in Valorant is completely different from CS, for instance. Now cm/360 or in/360 are actually universal and you can keep the same sensitivity in any game by using that value, instead.
i've been playing at 0.55 800 dpi for years i don't understand how people wrist aim especially on long ranges i swear high sens players just don't aim and go for rng 95% of the time.
Damn that's a really low sens in combination with that black crosshair...I use 0.61 in game with 1000dpi (mouse acceleration off). Still cycling through nades that's how I'm used since 1.6. Can't be asked to rebind all of them since the bot commands on Z X C are too important for me 😂. Mic I went for E and I use F to interact.
i have tried both of this so here is my personal conslusion high sens + low dpi = better accuracy , low speed high dpi + low sens = better speed , low accuracy dont play on high poling rate , feels like you put your mouse on slippery surface
