I'm sure you've heard from viewers that the singer on "Colors" was not Pharoah Sanders but Leon Thomas. Thomas has a distinctive singing style with touches of yodeling an other vocal effects. For a treat, listen to Thomas' rendition of "Gypsy Queen" on his "Blues and the Soulful Truth" album. It was so unusual and fun, I couldn't handle it the first time I listened to it. You guys are great, it's a delight to watch you discover the world of jazz.
KRice70, I totally get that. The Creator song sure does ebb and flow out of "free" jazz style and back into something a little more "easy" to listen to. Thanks for checking out the episode and keep coming back for more!
Oh Karma, and Pharoah Sanders how I love your music and this album.

@411curt, thanks. We caught that but we kind of sounded like we weren't sure. It's always helpful to tell us when we go wrong though.
This music is very “busy” for me. It sounds like he was on something when he recorded this album
