When did Grimsby start travelling in such impressive numbers? Through the 80s and 90s, they had very few travelling fans, but these last few years their away support has really taken off.

Probably the best time to do so if you haven’t decided, they’ve got new owners who care and are actually trying to make the club perform well on and off the pitch, recently signed a new deal with a local company who want to not only help out the club but also Grimsby and cleethorpes, and the promotion and this fresh start from the owners has created a very strong sense of togetherness among fans

True. I remember in the 80s them taking 40 to Middlesbrough for a Saturday 3pm game.
This was during the time Grimsby were in the second tier too.

Grimsby …..not a great town these days but made to look lovely after Bradford !
