Stead, Morais, Halliday and Yeates along with the other Bradford players will be etched in BCFC history...Will never ever forget this performance...⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
Once Jon Stead settled down and got to grips with this game, he was an absolute monster. Bullied the Chelsea defence at times and set up two and scored one.
i'm a Sheffield United fan and i have to agree that this was a stunning comeback, when i saw it on soccer saturday along with City losing 2-0 to Middlesborough, it was a total shock!
The bit of play from stead that hold on was absolute class . Perfect example of underating your opposition and not being up for it there was no hunger from the Chelsea players
I will never forget how brilliant Bradford played on this dayin my view this is the upset in the GS cup of all time to be ,2 nil down and come back and score 4goals Bradford had real passion I am Bradford born what s game nobody give Bradford s chance but the players did us proud
@@BcafcBH People that say Bradford is a shithole are ignorant. It's mostly country side. Some amazing walks, beautiful woods and moors. Great canal walk. A lot of history and places to discover.
As a chelsea fan I was very upset with the performance particularly the way we folded in the second half but Bradford were sensational and results like these are what the FA cup is all about. And Man city lost 2-0 at home to Middlesbrough on the same day!
The sun costed the Chelsea team 270 million bradford city 120.000 pounds most players were on either loans or free transfers. I think one of the greatest games of all times but in a city fan.
Am Very proud of that time if only they could of kept that team they would of been heading to the big league again this is the biggest shock in the history of the comp nobody give Bradford s chance what s come back u dream of these big shocks Mohammed from Bradford so proud
I couldn't get to the game but have watched this so many times. Jon Stead was world class. Two observations: 1. Afterwards when they had the list of top 10 giant killings - it included Shrewsbury vs Everton (!) and Wimbledon vs Liverpool 1988 but not Colchester vs Dirty L**ds 1971 which is possibly the biggest upset ever. 2. Gary Cahill's goal for Chelsea was very understated, perhaps because it was only vs little Bradford City but when Zola did something similar (vs Norwich?) the commentators raved about it for months afterwards.
Watching again in 2020. The germans come along and decimate a club that did this in 2015. the greatest cup upset of all time, hurt "lineker" and the BBC, hurt Chelsea. What an asset Jon Stead was to the club....wonderful to watch again
2-4 on the 24th, we have 24 hours a day to figure it out, boots dipped in 24k gold that night but the goals are priceless. Cahilll number 24 scored their first, then Salah 17 and Ramires 7 combine. add them = 24....? Glitches, this game was like Fifa, Stead 99 overall, 124 shot power
Neutral viewpoint. Terrific result for the underdogs, but, if you check out the full match video, Bradford should been down to 10 after 45 seconds. The game would have been different had that happened. Stead was the difference. He was awesome.
What a shame had we won we would have played Millwall had they won unfortunately we both lost 🙄 plenty fellas were rubbing their hands together 😂😂 never mind 🙄
Did John Stead get posessed by some sort of hybrid entity consisting of Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Dimitar Berbatov for just one day or something do you reckon? Lol.
Probably, though I can't say the Chelsea defence made themselves look good there... he had what 3 defenders on him who didn't go for the ball? Truly a remarkable game.
@@daz7423 I know, was absolutely crazy to watch! Reminded of a United vs Arsenal fixture where Anderson absolutely destroyed Fabregas for the entire game. Or when Sir Alex decided to change Alan Smith's position to Central Midfield and he completely bossed a game against Mourihno's Chelsea when they were really at the top of their game. And I always remember an F.A. Cup game against arsenal where Sir Alex's 4-man midfield was Fabio on the left, Rafael on the right and O'Shea and Darron Gibson in the middle and we still walked all over Arsenal somehow with that midfield setup! Lol. Everyone has their day at some point I guess!
I know this a late reply but Michu was Class for Swansea during that tournament, keep in mind Bradford still beat Aston Villa over 2 legs as well Arsenal during that same run, teams that should've had Bradford beat easily as well, it just took Swansea to do it instead, probably because they kept level heads and didn't underestimate them despite being in League 2 at the time.
this might be the most entertaining match ive ever watched
listen to that silence when chelsea go up 1-0... embarassing
Still get goosebumps watching this. Amazing! If only Bradford could keep that team for the following season, such a shame.
Same

Given the nature of modern football this has to be the greatest upset in the history of the competition
It's pretty close
biggest upset in my opinion was Wigan 1-0 Man City 17/18 FA Cup R16.

No I disagree reading knocking out liverpool in 2010 fa cup

Chelsea only lost 3 games that whole YEAR, and this was the only loss at home, unbelievable upset, I couldn’t even be sad that day 👏

Leeds fan and have to say this is the best FA cup game I've ever seen, maybe upset not the word, more astonishment!

and Yeates running off him and dinking it in bottom corner as well Willian doesn't even follow him
or the fans, stayed in their seats when they scored by the sounds of it.
merediths throw in was class....drew everyone near post when the rebound came morias has no choice but to slot it home
Best game I've ever been to plus 1 day after my birthday so what a birthday present

Jon Stead played the game of his life
the best comeback in history
xWilkyHD =) I get the feeling those Bradford fans feel exactly the same way.
Can't believe how we did that

Istanbul 2005 was better tbh
This video will never ever bore me.
I never ever will get tired of watching this

surely deep down in ur heart were ur first team
When Salah used to play for Chelsea 🙌🏻
Still makes me proud. A Bradford City lad.
I'm living in Bradford right now watching this gg though Bradford
damn Drogba costs more than whole Bradford team combined
No Drogba costs more than the whole of Bradford 😄😄😄
Still gives me goose bumps everytime i watch it
just realize that Mourinho has let so many players go that slap Mourinho's face and prove him wrong later, like Salah and De Bruyne
No wonder he let go of salah seeing how he's played this game
Best day of my life
Sorry this isn't a Walsall video, but we are playing Bradford in a few weeks. Hopefully, we will do better than Chelsea.
petelee hk u did we were 3 -0 up
What a city team that was, fought together as a team, Jon Stead was like a world beater
What a fantastic video! :) Keep up the good work ;) Hugs and positive vibes

@Joe Dunne that WE are looking forward to!
Beautiful game
The one day where Jon Stead was better than messi. His hold up play for the 3rd and 4th goal was way above League one level
That assist on the 4th... wow 😯
way above champions league level
Well done bradford just watched this tonight forgot all about it to be honest must have been away .great support respect from a sland fan
This is why Football is the most beautiful game, and the FA Cup is the most storied competition.
And that TIE!!!
love the f.a cup!
We were spoilt. Best game I have ever been to.
Commenter who did the Chelsea give Bradford loads of respect even they eas in leg one upmost respect for him mo from Bradford
Bradford have been thru some really bad lows ie Bradford City fire in 85 and some really good highs ie their run to 2013 ELC final and this day.
