Actually, the brush does a faster job, but you won't get poker straight hair. The hair is just being passed thru the bristles of the brush...you are not pulling it or tugging it straight. That is why the final effect is not a sleek, straight look, just a wavy straight look.
On the other hand, Philips straighteners will give your hair a straight finish, film actor style. But it would obviously be more harmful than the brush, since you are subjecting your hair to more heat, more tugging.
The choice is yours....if you plan to straighten your hair on a regular basis, then go for the brush. But if it is an occasional straightening, as for a function, then the Philips straighteners are a better choice .

Ideal temperature for Hairstraightening is 210°c
Ideal temperature for creating curls or waves using hair straightener is between 210°c-230°c.
Ikonic works little quick & better than bhs386.

@@Purple-ym4xz I haven't tried any serum so I can't recommend any.But avoid sulfates in shampoo, silicones in hair mask and hair serum as these may cause build up will leads to a lot of damage (go fragrance free, essential oil free)
