  • We've used Worldpackers to help us travel for free around the world. This app allows us to live and eat in some of the coolest places we've travelled to, for free including Ha Giang in Vietnam and Kathmandu in Nepal!
If you have any other questions about Worldpackers, volunteering or certain places we've helped out, please let us know in the comments!

beside the free stuff, how much else you have to spend for your volunteering trip in Ha Giang?

We really didn't spend a lot at all. So accommodation and food was free, we got ourselves a gym membership for 500k monthly pass (around £15), bike was free to use we had to fill it up with petrol a couple of times (so cheap like £2 full tank). We did buy things like energy drinks or coffees, fruit from the market or little snacks etc and we definitely could have done it cheaper if not completely free if we were stricter with it
