Perfect! The dealer didn't give me the code on the used 2015 F150 I bought and only had one key fob (very eager to make a second one for over $200). This was perfect. Pain in the butt to get to, but cheaper than the dealer option.

Truth is most dealers don't know about this. This is old school!
I just bought a 2008 Expedition and the factory door code was right there where you said it would be on those later model F-150's. I had to unbolt the fuse box in order to get a good look at the sticker behind it, but there it was! There was an obscure, seemingly random 5 digit number printed on the lower left of the sticker in small print. That was the code! Thanks. 👍

Very well prepared, extremely helpful video, especially the detail about how difficult it might be to see it. The info label is indeed up behind that dash/door border trim panel, but really hard to get a decent angle to read the number. I ended up using a wifi endoscopic camera to read it on my phone screen. Also, at least on the my 2017 Lariat, the base of the trim panel that comes down to the floor sill trim panel, where it goes below the sill, has some form of a fastner that I could not disengage. I stopped trying to separate it when I heard the dreaded plastic stress noise, so watch out for that. Thanks for such a detailed demonstration on how to retrieve the keyless entry code.

This was an excellent video for finding your key code like the gentlemen said your going to have to pay a ford dealer $50 for them to get from the internet which should take all of about 2 minutes but they have to charge a ridiculous price for something that should be free to ford owner i sure am glad i found this ytube video thank you very much all i need to do now is find a ford dealer that cares about there customers

Huge help! I bought a used 2021 f150 Lariet with no owners manual or code card. I initially tried the trick with the two key fobs that shows the code on the dashboard but when I entered that code it came up as invalid. The code was exactly where you said it would be but very difficult to read. Appreciate the help!

This video was extremely helpful. Others had led me to the passenger panel but stopped short of the details to find the code. Good advice on removing the final panel. Use a bright light to see or photograph the code. I had to push a cable out of the way.

You don't have to go to the dealership, or pull any interior panels to get your factory door code. On my 18 F150, (you must have 2 keys to do this) you put the first key in the ignition switch, turn it to the run position without starting the engine. Leave it in the run position for 4 seconds, then remove it, and insert the second key and turn it to the run position, again, without starting the engine, and in approximately 4 seconds, the factory code will appear on the center display of the instrument panel/gauge cluster.
What if you don't have two keys?

I didn't find it on my 2019 F150 King Ranch. Not surprising as I am NOT technologically inclined lol.
There is sometimes a Wiring harness in the way. Just have to push it forward. I have never been not able to find it.
I got to verfiy this. I bought 16 Lariat & the guy had 2 lil papers with the 2 key fobs. The lil papers have a bar code & 5 digit # on both. The 5 digits are the same on both papers. He said the 5 digits was the door code. I took his word but when I tried opening the door it didnt work, & when i entered the 5 digits in the trucks head unit , under door keypad code settings it said its the wrong code. So now i have no clue what the 5 digits code on the lil paper is bc according to my manual the factory code will always work even if you change or add your personal code. Any clue what the lil papers, with the bar scan & 5 digit code with each key fob could be if not the door code????

@@Summitauto i still dont know what the lil paper 5 diget code is BUT i did find out the master code. I had to take both key fobs & place them in the dead keyfob battery emergency start slot (for lack of better words), & the master code popped up. I found that trick on another TH-cam video. It works great but you have to have both keyfobs. Have you seen that "trick" or method???

Ok, but that sticker is the factory code, right? What if the owner reset the code to something else?

Mustangs don't have Door codes from the factory
Very helpfull but I can't get the weather strip nice and tight again. Why would Ford do this? They could have put a sticker in the glove box but instead you have tear your truck apart. It's never going to be the same.
Make sure it is in on the track right and that there are no clips obstructing it. Ford never intended this to be how people get their code. They want you to take it to the dealer and have them scan it and charge you $100. Ford provides a card with the number, but once they become used these cards get lost

I believe there is a box located on the da front floor area. You need to remove an 8 mm bolt. pull the box back and then look on the back of the box with a mirror. I will double check

Hi, Sorry I can not. The Fiesta's come with the dealer installed door codes. Those do not share the same number as the body control module. You would have to take it to the dealer to find the code out if they can even do it :( Sorry I couldn't help.
How did u get the kick plate off?
The side one you reach in the back and there is a little handle like divit and just pull from the back. The floor sill you pull from the front on both sides. Once the floor plate is up The door sill plate you gently pull from the bottom. it will pop up and then carefully get the top tab out
